It's compatible
Worked like a charm, took a chance on buying. I have a hand held for the vacuum bags which is great but it does not work on the containers. The description did not include being compatible with the hand held, it is! Now I don't have to drag out my full unit for the containers.

Disappointed
Bought in Costco on 10/3/2024 today is 10/14/2024 and the connector for the acccessory port broke. Poorly made for some that has to be pushed in a polled out .I only used it 3 times and it broke.
Unless there is a solution to this I’ll just return it to Costco .if I can’t use everything it has to offer I don’t want it. I just bought a bunch of vaccume bags and jar sealers. How to use the jar sealer if it’s made as cheap as the bag sealer . I hope there is a solution to this .

Be careful because these adapters look just like older ones but they will not work with with “older” canisters. Make you need the one with a hole in addition to the hose intake.

I bought this to replace the same item that broke. There was no information suppled with this attachment, and I tried to use it several times exactly like I used my previous attachment. However, this new one has a small opening that must be covered before a vacuum is creating in the canister. I found this out when I could never seal the canister. When I finally saw this opening, I covered it with my thumb while I was vacuum sealing the canister and the seal was created. See the the accompanying photo.

Works perfectly. The adaptor made it possible to seal my Fresh Saver containers with my newer vacuum sealer.

Design flaw
I bought two of them. They are like the original EXCEPT they have a hole in the top of the adapter that doesn't allow it to seal and draw air out. It simply allows the air to pass through and you get no vacuum seal at all.

I wish it worked
The replacement adaptor simply does not work. I needed to replace the old one as it was worn out. I installed the new one and it provides only a little suction. Certainly, not enough to create an actual vacuum.
