I love my foodsaver vacuum sealer. I use it almost daily to seal and reseal mason jars for all kinds of food. I know the hose connectors break easily, so I've always ordered 2 replacement hoses at a time, and then when i get down to one working hose, I order another 2. Well, my 2nd to last hose just broke, so im on the last one, and now its no longer available. That will render my machine useless.... during a pandemic. I will definitely buy another vacuum sealer, but it will DEFINITELY not be from Foodsaver! What a pathetic disappointment. And your ridiculous responses to these complaints is shameful. So glad you are sorry that you are sorry.

Horrible Replacement
What a disappointment!
My old FoodSaver died after many years of service, so... I purchased a new version with the accessory port only to find that my old hoses and connections would not work on the new one. The new one is only a few months old and the connector broke.. These are cheap plastic and nothing like the quality I have expected from FoodSaver! I purchased 3 of these knowing they won't last. Already 1 of them has broken. To add insult to the poor quality, the replacement hoses are much shorter than the originals, making it hard to use and it barely reaches to top of a regular jar.
Really FoodSaver?? how much did you save using cheap plastic and shorter hoses?

Accessory Port Hose
My accessory port hose (green end) broke. Upon trying to obtain a replacement, I found all these complaints on line. From the reviews I've read, this part has been unavailable for at least 6 months. What kind of customer service is this? It is evident that the Accessory Port Hose is defective. You should have mass quantities manufactured and all defective hoses replaced free of charge. The design is of poor quality and should be changed, but I guess you realize this after all the complaints I've read. I cannot in good conscience recommend your products until you resolve this deficiency.

Who made this design change?????
After years of limping along with rebuilding older FoodSaver units, I finally broke down and purchased a GameSaver. Because the GameSaver uses this style of accessory hose, I am returning the GameSaver for a refund in hopes I can find a unit that does NOT use this new style connector.
After only 2 months, the tip of the connector broke. I use the accessories extensively, and cannot envision paying $15 per year for replacement accessory hoses.
Why did you change the design? In whose world was a thin two-prong unit superior to a solid molded plastic tip?

Replacement hose. Here I go again!
The vacuum hose for the marinate canister, the trio canisters and the jar sealers gets a lot of work. One would think the hose would be made durable for these purposes, but I have broken two tips in a very short time.
The plastic on the tip is thin and inferior, and I'm quite dismayed that Foodsaver has not solved this problem yet, therefore I cannot recommend this product without the consumer being quite aware of this design flaw.
It's also a hassle finding the right hose attachment on the website. The first time I ordered a replacement, I got the one with white tips when I was searching the website for the one with the green and grey attachments. So I had to return that one and call customer support a number of times. This is not how I enjoy my time. I like things that work the way they say they do.

Please discontinue the new adapter
The new adaptor with the green nub is a failure in design compared to the old, simple plug (that exists on the other side of the same hose!). I have been singing the praises of my Foodsaver for quite some time. My last one finally died after thousands of uses over several years, so I upgraded to the new model which came with the new adapter end. I do not "roughhouse" my appliances; the adapter broke within 6 weeks from normal wear. I invite the product designer to get back on the horse quickly as this design is a stinker. I am concerned I will have to buy a new hose every few months due to this poor design. I'm not convinced a new adapter was necessary as I never had an issue with my old hose. The replacement may only be $3, but I fear it may be a $3 Achilles heel that will cause me to look to a different brand.

I need a hose !!!!
Why selling a vacuum sealer that has port for the hose to be used but you can't find the hose to go with it. Your site has been Every time I come here for this. your out of stock and out of stock ever time I come. I can't find it online anywhere to go with fm2000 I have even emailed this company got no reply back. Mine didn't come with the hose. I have order the deli snake containers can't use them I want to order wide mouth mason jar sealer. But I don't think the hose with that will fit my sealer . What I understand needs to be green on the end. Sad shame on this companies end to make product but can't get the things you need to fully use it. If the company can't handle making the products then get another company to make them. I need a hose for my vacuum sealer! I am angry

Broken plastic tip on accessory hose
I am on this website to buy the replacement and stunned to read that the company has not had a replacement available for literally years. Does this mean you still sell these machines with a known defective part? The entire point of the machine is to seal and vacuum but without the vacuum tip it is rendered worthless. I suggest you source the production of this part in the USA and have a safety engineer design it for you. Email me if you need recommendations. I’m sure you have lost business through word of mouth because of a design flaw, and that is predictable. I’m disappointed because I purchased all these accessories that are just nonclosing tupperware now
