Description
FoodSaver® 8" Vacuum-Seal Roll let you create custom-sized bags to package and protect food and non-food items using your FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System. Made from the exact same material as our bags, FoodSaver® Rolls give you great flexibility. Simply cut a piece to your desired length, seal one end, fill and then vacuum seal. Specially designed channels allow complete air removal and multi-layer construction blocks moisture and oxygen and makes the bags strong enough to simmer and microwave. BPA-free.

This Produce is a money saver!
I am first-time user of this product and must say that my family is already saving money. We used to throw out most uneaten (leftover) foods within a day or so of cooking. Now we are able to eat longer, using leftover, and not worry about spoilage. Additionally, we now repackage and freeze newly purchased food and it retains its freshness many days longer.
We are absolutely ecstatic! Thank you!

PS As a side note, we have had issues with the seal contain in the machine itself. The seal will not stay in place. Once stored, the seal always dis-larges when FoodSaver machine is opened again. Any correction suggestions will be helpful.

a great way to keep food for longer periods
I love the rolls, no matter what their size. The smaller size (8") is just right for most of my veggies. It is quick and easy to make a bag and not have any waste, like with the quart bags or larger even(I have them but almost never use them). I can portion package this way for the amount I need for a meal for two.
This system always works for me. The larger bags (11") I use for larger portions of prepared meals and uncooked meats. The other day I took some steaks out that had been packed this way since 2010 and they were still as fresh as when I put them in!

The Standard Bearer
I've had my FoodSaver vacuum sealer for almost 10 years and have only ever purchased FoodSaver brand rolls. I use both 8" and 11" because of the flexibility they give me to cut just the right size pouch. They are perfect for everything from cooked rice to soups, casserole leftovers to any kind of meat. The material is perfect for defrosting in the microwave - doesn't 'melt' itself - or reheating contents in boiling water (sous vide for those modern chefs). I've never been disappointed with the quality or results. After 10 years, still have never pulled anything out of the freezer that wasn't almost as good as the day I put it in there!

Perfect size for the two of us
Tied with the Portion Pouches, the 8" x 20" Vacuum-Seal Roll is what I use all the time both for left-over portions destined for the freezer and to 'double seal' packaged foods for longer-term storage (i.e., pasta, freeze-dried potato mixes). Having a 3-pack means that I won't run out of the product when I need it most. I recently purchased the model V5860 Bag Sealer system to replace my aging V2220 sealer and the 8 x 20 roll is what I'll put in that, ready to go whenever I need to vacuum seal. I didn't get this item for free but I may have used a coupon code for the purchase.

We keep a small garden enough dfor ourselves, kids and grandkids.Usally potatoes,squash green beans assorted melons and herbs. this year we've had an abundance crop...enough to give our neighbors too.
Every morning ...I keep the FoodSaver..in the kitchen now we are putting up our vegetables. what we like about the freezer bags you can lay them flat in the freezer, leaving a lot of room for more to pack and freeze.
Except this year our corn went crazy..we shucked some, some we left in the husk. One AM we put up 72 ears of corn...it never would have happened without the Food Saver and freezer bags
Our local store..we live 25 miles one way carries some foodSaver bags, that's why I like to order directly from you.

Great product: 8 x 20 rolls 3 pack
I have decided that I like the 8 inch wide rolls the best. I also make bags out of the 11 inch wide rolls, but not as often. I am always trying to conserve as much of the food saver plastic material as possible and most items I freeze will fit into the 8 inch wide material. For instance, I like to freeze soups, chili, ghoulash, stew, greens, creamed spinach, etc. in 5 cup plastic storage frig containers. After the food is well-frozen, I remove it from the container and freeze it. Five cups of food in this shape is too large for the quart pre-made bags, so I make my own. It only takes me about five minutes more to make my own bags. I like saving money buying this 3 pack.

Love the sealer and rolls.
I love the product concept. Do have difficulty achieving good seal. Am ordering new seals in hope that will improve results. Also have problem with unfrozen meats that seep juices into bag resulting in failed sealable iing. adding strips of paper towels on top of meat is not helpful. I have put smaller chops, grounf meat in ziploc bags then sealing with foodsaver protocol with usually good results. So sad, Website is very difficult to work with after business hours leaves one without customer service available. Just received notice my reward points expire today and I have no idea how to use them. So sad that I will lose a sizable amount.

8" are the best size for me
I use more 8" than 11" rolls since I can make "long" bags for items that I would normally put in a 11" bag, and if I have a smaller amount, I'm not wasting bag (only 8"x3"=24" square wasted vs 11"x3"=33" squared) to seal them properly.
Getting them on sale at Foodsaver with free shipping is a bonus.
When I'm not freezing bulk purchases of meat, I freeze bunker that we catch for fishing. One 12" bunker per bag makes it easy to keep what we dont use fresh/frozen.
Also, when we go camping I vacuum and freeze all our meat - eating what thaws out first. This keeps the cooler clean, saves space, and I know I don't have any leaky zipper bags.
