Won't hold vacuum.
I received a few of these Vacuum Zipper bags included with my FoodSaver that I bought last year. I thought they would be great to seal cheese in. However, after a day or two they lost the vacuum. I was very disappointed. My husband called about it, and was told they would send a free box of the Vacuum Zipper bags. But instead of the Vacuum Zipper bags, they sent the regular quart size bags. Have any improvements been made on the Vacuum Zipper bags? Other than this problem, I love my FoodSaver. I had my first one almost 20 years before getting a new one.

Zipper bags don’t work
You can remove the air from the bag but it won’t stop suctioning and when you remove the nozzle the air goes back in the bag. I chatted with a few people and what they suggested I tried before and did not work. They did not resolve the issue. The bags would be great if they worked.

GREAT PRODUCT
I love having a lot of these bags on hand for everyday use, in my case that is harvesting items from my garden and dehydrating them or freezing them. and items I buy in bulk stay a lot fresher in these bags.

Good product
Very effective in preserving food for extended periods. We're empty-nesters, so the chances of losing food to spoilage is much greater now. These bags help in the effort to prevent that loss.

Zipper Bags are Awesome
Zipper Bags are so easy to use and keep food products fresh until ready to open bag and use product inside again—for example I have kept all of my cheeses stored in these bags just like when first opened in original package. I have saved so much money on being able to use up cheeses before they go bad. I LOVE these bags for sealing cheese and keeping it fresh and ready to eat.

More specific Promo instructions
I ordered some reusable bags under a promo of buy 2 boxes get 2 free. I ordered the 2 not knowing I had to order 4 to get the deal. Promo should have been more detailed on how to get the deal. But as always Foodsaver came through with their excellent customer service and sent me the two boxes of reusable bags

These bags freeze and sous vide as well as fridge.
Love these bags. Have used them for years. My little handheld vacuum is getting weak. Just wish a replacement wasn't so expensive. With all the money I spend on bags, the little handheld should be a heck of a lot cheaper to encourage more bag purchases.

While regular FoodSaver&reg; Bags are designed for freezer use, we do not recommend placing them in rapidly boiling water, as high heat may weaken the seams.
