Leaking Bags...Not holding vacuum.
First, we ave been using the FoodSaver units for years and love them. Currently we have been using the 4825 for the past 5 years or so and it works great...love it. We have always used the standard bulk bags and made my own custom sizes. Recently just decided to try out the Zipper bags for items that we would need to get into on a regular basis such as rice, beans, polenta etc. My first bag was rice and it held overnight but then later in the next day I noticed the vacuum was gone. I tried resealing it again making sure the zip was completely sealed and I completed the vacuum sealing on our flat granite countertop. Once sealing was complete it immediately leaked the vacuum. I decided to try another bag with polenta that was only half full. The results were the same as it immediately began leaking the vacuum. I checked the zip seals and made sure it was clean as well as the valve but subsequent tests yielded the same results.
Finally I conducted a test on the rice bag and the polenta bag. I resealed and vacuumed both and upon completion I poured a small amount of water on the valve (a reverse leak down test) to see if it was drawing in the water. Unfortunately it was and this was the same for three bags in a row that I tested. The valves appear to be faulty and not keeping a good seal while the zipper appears to be working well.
I have ordered some new bags and I hope I have better luck but for now these are a fail for me unfortunately. Hoping the new bags work but am I am not confident at this point.

Lost me $200 of choice filet to leak-freezer burn.
I’ve used these bags on and off for a couple years. Some hold the seal and some don’t. No matter how many times I go over the zipper to make sure it’s sealed, even some of the brand new bags let air in as soon as overnight. I had a $200 filet portioned and vacuum sealed for 3 months only to come back and find them all freezer burned because the seal didn’t hold. Needless to say I’m pretty livid and won’t be buying this product again as the bags I have are going in the garbage for lack of reliability.

Handy, sturdy, easy to clean and reuse.
Just beginning to use enjoy these sturdy bags. Work extremely well with the handheld sealer. Stood up well in the 'small item' jumble section of my freezer. Which is important since I cook for one. I don't have to pull out my full sized vacuum sealer to make & seal small bags anymore.

Didn't know there was a freezer version
I've been using Food Saver bags (regular) in the freezer for a few years with no problem. Then when I bough a new manual sealer, I discovered there was a freezer option so I'm trying them. They seem just a bit thicker than the regular bags and the suction hold is quite sturdy.

Great Product - Poor Customer Support
I had an issue with my order. So far, I’ve reached out to customer support through the website and their response was to ask me for my order number. I promptly responded with the order number and it’s been 3 days. Other than the customer support, I would have rated this item higher. I ordered 2 of the quart size bags, following the instructions if adding 4 to my cart because they were offering a buy 2, get 2 sale. It it wasn’t for this, I would have rated this a 5 star rating with this information: These zipper bags are significantly better than the first zipper bags. The plastic seal on the original zipper bags would fall off, making the bags useless. However, these zipper bags have a better design and the problem with the putter plastic seal falling off is no longer an issue. The improvements make this product an excellent product!

Bags are sturdy and so far most hold the seal
I like the new bags. Very sturdy and 2 out of 3 hold the seal. One of the bags leaked. I’ve only tried 3 bags so far after buying them a few weeks ago. Hopefully the one bad bag was an anomaly. And yes I sealed it correctly. But so far I am reasonably happy with these bags

Great bags
This was the best idea for Foodsaver. The easy of use, quality of the resealable bags and their durability is incredible. I use them when I travel, to sealing dog treats to keep them fresh. My dog certainly appreciates the bags.

To hard to open after sealing
As much as I love the idea and the bags, the fact that they are so hard to open has put me off of buying them. If they made the lip even a little wider, I could open it easier. So I won't be buying these again.
