Serial number and model number was given for replacement gasgets, wrong one's were sent and no email from foodsaver, no acknowledgement I was charged for the wrong item sent to me. Thanks

Gasket failure
I hope these gaskets last longer than the originals. Had to buy another sealer bc the replacement gaskets were not available. Now I have two sealers. The product is not too shiny in my opinion, so far.

WILL THIS item EVER be available AGAIN?

Good as new
These new gaskets made my sealer like new! I was having issues with the bags sealing due to the old gaskets being warped due to my own misuse of the machine. These new gaskets need to be installed at the curved ends first and then work the gasket into the channel along the long sides. This is because the material is flexible and will stretch if you try to work it around the channel in one long attempt. So glad I was able to get my sealer back in use!

DISSAPOINTED in FoodSaver
I purchased replacement upper and lower gaskets for my FoodSaver because it no longer vacuum seals. This did nothing to correct the problem. Very disappointed. I have not had the FoodSaver that long. I would expect that the appliance would last longer than it has. In reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem.

SEALS ARE KNOWN TO FAIL. FOODSAVER IS NEGLIGENT.
Have had the product just over a month; used it 2 times and the seals already failed. Foodsaver is aware of this defect. Replacements are not available. I will contact your support and request a refund. I am also escalating this to all companies (especially Amazon) and let them know this is a faulty product and cannot be fixed. Also contacting the BBB in the U.S.

Inexpensive Fix
My food saver stopped vacuuming the air enough to get to the seal function. I read about changing the gaskets and decided to try before relaxing the unit. To my surprise, this inexpensive fix solved the issue!

Even though the product page only lists FM2000, FM2010, and FM2100 Series, the VS2110 uses the same body style, gasket channel, and sealing strip design as the FM2000/FM2010 &mdash; so this gasket is compatible. These gaskets are specifically designed for the FM2000 and FM2100 series. For the best performance and a proper seal, it is recommended to use the T91000075 gaskets, which are designed for the VS1230 model.
