Does exactly what it says
I think this product does exactly what it’s supposed to, it seals food with vacuum suction. It has the ability to be used handheld rather than just through the flat sealer and it’s easy enough to figure out how to use it. I mainly use it to seal leftovers such as meat before I freeze for an extended period of time. Perhaps not every household needs one of these, but if you are someone who does a lot of deep freezing or even cooking like sous vide, this can be helpful. It can be a little pricey, but if you use it regularly, I think it makes up its value.

Unhappiness is not an option!
Unhappiness is not an option! Throughout all my years as a FoodSaver consumer, I have NEVER had any problems until the purchase of their Handheld+ 2-in-1 Vacuum Sealing System! The regular vacuum sealer will not operate at all, although the sealer function works. I have repeatedly tried to reach out to FoodSaver regarding this problem, however I cannot reach anyone! So sadly, I have no more than 2 stars to give.

A kitchen must!
I received this for free via Influenster. I had gotten the FoodSaver many many years ago and I remember it being very useful, but took up quite a bit of counter space and was very noisy. I’m pleased to have the new FoodSaver Handheld+. It is more sleek and compact and it comes with the handheld wire free vacuum for different storage accessories. I use it to freeze and store meats that I but in bulk from Sam’s Club. I love the new option to have vaccum sealed reusable ziplock bags I think that’s brilliant! I do wish it came with more bags to start with. It came with 2 gallon precut and 2 quart precut bags, and only 1 gallon ziplock and 1 quart ziplock. The bags do seem pretty pricey so this product is a bit of an investment in the long run.

Had a food saver for years and it worked great. Finally quit. This product was no where close to matching my old one. Would not completely vacuum or would vacuum completely and not seal. Junk. Returned

Bad Xmas gift
I got the handheld unit as a Xmas gift. It has already stopped working. Used it about 8 times. It shows being fully charged (solid green light) but when you take it out and press the button it doesn’t turn on. Press the button again, and the red light flashes. What a piece of garbage. Tried for two hours to get on line and submit warranty. Wouldn’t accept my date code. Really?

Basic, the air removing handheld is the best feature.
The best feature is the handheld air remover. The counter top sealer is very basic with just a sealer and vacuum+sealer options. No variations or moist or dry or strength of vacuum. The locking systems is just a handle that rotates and feels flimsy, half the time it does not lock properly unless you are holding down the lid. The vacuum seal time is basic at about 1:30 depending if you remove as much air as possible first. Then you have to wait for it to cool down for 2 mins or the next seal will close before the air is taken out.

When I bought this I really liked it though I wished there was a place to hold and cut the rolls. But after 3 months the unit stopped working. It lights up but doesn't make any noise or does it vacuum. I have tried several times to contact Food saver though the website but have had no success as of yet. My review would have been a 4 other wise.

The product was perfect out of the box. its light weight compact size makes it easy for storage and great for use 👍 I am obsessed with gr9wing my own food now having the perfect foodsaver vacuum sealer combo makes storage for a longer time possible I can't believe how sturdy this lil tool is easy enough for my 11 year old to help use but very much a great all around kitchen tool i wpuld highly recommend and get one fast if your a home gardener or home steamer or just a home cook perfect t 10 out of 10 love this gadget

Worked once no longer works do not buy it’s crap
I purchased this in blue on Dec 8 2025 I used it once in January I went to use it again today and it doesn’t work it seals but the vacuum part isn’t working I tried to trouble shoot it I tried to call customer service I can’t even get a live person I’m so upsetI can’t each anyone to get assistance a refund or replacement

Easy to use and worth thhe cost just in saving your food.
At first i was very skepital but after using it I love it ,with food prices so high right now its important and great to be able to buy in bulk and be able to ensure our food is stored safly and will last longer. It is ver versitile especially b3cause you also have the hand held sealer which reals bags like snacks to prevent waste and keep their freshness. Thiis product is very useful and made to last a must have for your home. Affirdable reliable and will definatly pay for its self .

Amazingly versatile and awesome sealing power
Prior to this FoodSaver, I was vacuuming sealing my fancy ribeye with Ziploc bags and a straw. Not only did the FoodSaver come with a couple sample single use pouches, but it also came with 2 reusable ones. I was pleasantly surprised that the vacuum portion of the device could pop off the main machine and vacuum the reusable bag, which was very convenient and versatile. The handheld device vacuumed so well on battery power I thought the bag was going to rip!

Dual purpose light weight
Influenster gave me the opportunity to review this Foodsaver product. It is black and also easier to move than a full size food saver. I haven’t used it very much yet. Just the traditional vacuum seal. I am excited to try the hand held attachment. It seals zipper bags, bottles and jars. The booklet said you can also buy extra accessories for more versatility. The hand held piece has a charger compartment on the food traditional sealer.

Easy hand held option
I really love the handheld vacuum with the accessories. This set came with a seal for
Wine bottle and the hand help pump quickly pulls the air out of The wine bottle to keep it fresh. I love this! It also came with little Reusable bags that have a seal and remind me of the storage bags I use to compress my clothes. It was very easy to use. We packed up some freshly ground coffee to take on vacation with us. It was perfect for that.

You need one for your house!!
I know about FoodSaver before but never try out this brand, so I was really excited when receiving this product from Influenster. I normally do grocery shopping once a week and buy lots of things in bulk, therefore they are taking a lot of space in my fridge and freezer. I use Ziploc bag to store foods that I will be using but sometime they already gone bad before I have a chance to cook them. The FoodSaver vacuum sealer is the best solution ever because I can keep my food in the fridge for longer by limiting the air exposure and freezer burner. The machine is very lightweight and compact so it fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. It also comes with a handheld vacuum that you can use for pretty much anything that can be stored. It does cost more for the seal bags and rolls but considering the amount of food I have to dispose, it is still a game changer.

Disappointing
Thus was purchased as a christmas gift, unfortunately the first time my friend used it the vacuume+seal button does not work properly, the machine vacums the bags but she has to push the individual seal button shortly after the vacuum+seal light turns off inorder to seal the bag, I'm very disappointed because i chose the 2-in 1 specifically because of the larger vacuum sealing option combined with the hand held. Buyers beware!!

Nice Sealer
It's a very nice sealer and works well. I purchased it for the hand held sealer, plus the price is great. After receiving it, I decided I wanted a larger sealer that holds the roll in the machine with the cutter built in like I had before. I have ordered a larger one in order to have the option that I got used to. If you're looking for a basic vacuum sealer, this is a perfect little machine that doesn't take up much space.

Great little unit!
It's compact compared to other models I've owned. Really like the cordless hand sealer. The other version's hand sealer always failed in some way. Usually the small plastic piece that inserted into the sealer would break. I replaced at Costco probably 3 times. They didn't carry a sealer when I went to replace so opted to buy on manufacturers website. Sure hope it hold up because I imagine they won't replace like Costco.

Versatile and Convenient!
Couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of these for the longest time. Just has two buttons so it is very simple to use. I use it to freeze soups, meats, quick crockpot dishes, and more. It’s also great for a quick marinade for meats, veggies and tofu! The cordless sealer with the special bags is portable and easy to store, so I don’t have to use the larger device if I need to quickly seal something. Highly recommend!

So easy to use!!!!
This food saver has been a life saver. I have been able to prep meals and put them in the food saver and freeze them so it will be an easy dinner when I get home later from work. This item is super compact and portable so you can take it to your families houses and use it there for leftovers. The food saver is durable and easy to take on the go. Great Replacment
This is a replacement for my old vac sealer machine. I wore it out. This machine is slender enough to keep on my counter. The hand held unit with the new style bags are fantastic. There isn't anything I can't seal with this machine. I like that it is manual so I can control what is happening during vacuuming and sealing. Much easier and much less fuss. I will be gifting this item in the future.

Great item
When my handheld broke I decided to upgrade to this model and replace the old bulky one I had to lug on from the basement every time I wanted to use it. This one stays hidden on my counter and has been great! I feel like I use less plastic since my old one needed more length to seal. The one feature I missed is the bag cutter so I bought one online and attached it to the back of the machine.

I loved this product , it’s super easy to use and store your food allowing you to have more space in your fridge. I like the reusable bags because you can control the airflow. It doesn’t work with ziplog bags so the only thing is to buy your own supply of bags once they finish, which are only $8. Other than that it’s nicest product I’ve gotten and I’ll continue to use for a long time! .

Durable, long lasting battery, reusable bags for the handheld, slim and sleek
I am so pleased with this! The ability to not only vacuseal bags but containers and bottles is amazing! The hand held vacuum does take up to 24 hours to charge on an empty battery, but it works so well! I love the durability of the bags for the handheld that come in the box, they’re nice and thick and have a zipper lock for easy reusability. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Quality sealer that will last the stand of time
This Vacum sealer is the best one I have used. It’s a very sturdy sealer and fits in my cabinet well. The little sealer is perfect for the bags and seals it quite well. There is also a marinade button and it works pretty well. I tried it with my chicken and the chicken was absolutely amazing. This product is for anyone who is sick of seeing things get freezer burnt!

The ease of use
Absolutely love this vacuum sealer it worked wonders, got to freeze my favorite meat for longer periods of time and keeps fresh longer. Portable so I can move it all around my kitchen with ease. Also able to make soups and store them in my freezer, be careful with any hot liquids. Also has a sous vide version and use with ease, definitely recommend this product.
