Second faulty unit
This is the second hand held unit that stopped working. I reported the first faulty unit and after paying to return the unit, it was replaced. Now that I have contacted the company again to report the problem, I have yet to hear anything from them. Except for their emails advertising their products for my consideration. After reading the reviews I see the same canned comments: contact our customer support team. Well that doesn’t seem to work. If you have a faulty product admit it and make necessary repairs then replace those units purchased. Why should I have to pay to ship it back to you. At least compensate me for my costs.

Stopped Charging
I bought this unit in October 2022. I have it docked on my counter with the green light showing. I have un-docked the unit about a dozen times to use it. the past few times it was mostly uncharged and would only seal one bag with difficulty. VERY disappointed with this model. I have used the previous model (quite a bit larger) for a number of years and only replaced it because the charger connections were loose and I couldn't recharge the unit. The charging base may be faulty, but I actually believe the rechargeable battery unit was cheap and faulty. I need it replaced!

Disappointment with this product
"I purchased a portable cordless vacuum sealer, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The pins that allow the unit to recharge got stuck and broke on the first one I bought, rendering it useless. Thinking it was, I bought another one, but to my dismay, the same thing happened again. I strongly advise against buying this product as it seems poorly made and not worth the a one-off issue money. It appears as though they designed it to fail quickly and take your hard-earned money. The sad thing is that the system does not allow giving a lower than one star; if it were possible, I would give it a zero."

Initial Model FS2110 Was Defective
Was the Model FS2100 been recalled? My experience is identical to the many reviews of what appears to have been a prior model from Oct 2022.
It was barely used. Looks brand new, but suddenly stopped working. I agree with the other contributors, the battery is defective and this model was discontinued. Handheld Sealer came with a marinator @ $49.99. I did not initiate a warranty claim, however, based on the number of complaints and replacement of this model, I would hope that Foodsaver would replace the defective models.

BEST HANDHELD VACUUM SEALER EVER!!!
I was a little skeptical about buying this, because prior to, I was using my full-size FoodSaver vacuum sealer with the extendable accessory attachment.
To my surprise, it works absolutely EXCELLENT!
Super powerful vacuum seals up those resealable FoodSaver bags in a matter of seconds!
In addition, it provides enough vacuum to seal a full size FoodSaver container with no problems at all!
Best of all, I can take some resealable FoodSaver containers and bags and bring this device with me to vacuum seal food ANYWHERE!
The internal battery lasts a VERY long time, and it is SUPER easy to use!
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Terrible Workmanship
This is the worst item I have ever brought from FoodSaver and I have bought numerous items from them. I am on my 3rd handheld in this new series and it’s stopped working just like the other two. They just don’t work after a very short time like two-three weeks. Why?

I have been using food saver products for more than 20 years. I try to buy sale items which means, sometimes, it is in bulk. I use my sealing vacuum product all the time. It saves on freezer burn and food quality. The vegetable bags are good for saving the large portion food items. Since there is now just 2 of us. We don’t need “family” sized bags of vegetables. Once the bag is open, I simply put the balance in a freezer bag & seal it up for next time. Simple! The small handheld sealer is good for everyday reusable items such as cheese or cold cuts. I would recommend food saver products to anyone with a family or just 2 people. It has been worth it for me. JM.

Battery is no good
Only lasted about 2months before battery would charge anymore. Even when bran new there was less than 60 seconds of use before battery needed recharging.
