Outstanding Food Saver
Seriously, I am so excited about the FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer. I spend so much money on groceries just to have them spoil or get stale. It is just my husband and myself and we just don't finish a box or bag of something at a meal setting. Then when I come back to use the product at a later date I have to throw it out. I really like the precut bags because they are so easy to use in the machine. But, I don't think making my own bags from the Saver Roll would be difficult at all to create my own bags because the machine is just so easy to use. I am thrilled with this amazing product! I am so happy about reducing my food waste.

Excellent machine.
I am so happy I tried this vacuum sealer! While not super feature rich, this is just what I needed as someone who has just become acquainted with vacuum sealing; I could never be without it now. It has significantly cut down my time standing over the stove and has been so helpful to make weekday meals fast and easy when my family is so busy. I would definitely first freeze anything with some liquid. When sealing a bag with spaghetti and meat sauce, I had a bit of leaking as the air was sucked out. Now, everything from fresh meats to meal prepped lunches are being vacuum sealed. A great compact and easy to use first machine!

No accessory port?!?!
Why no accessory port?!?! Great product to replace the oversized, countertop models only to leave out a small port that extends the expands the uses to mason jars, reusable bags, containers, etc. Add the accessory port and I would purchase immediately.

Convenient and useful
Absolutely loving the FoodSaver Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags! It's like a magic trick for keeping food fresh way longer than usual. I'm no kitchen whiz, but this thing is a piece of cake to use, and it's already saved me money by making sure my groceries last. Plus, it's not even a hassle to store when I'm not vacuum-sealing everything in sight.

Perfect choice for bulk buying!
My husband and I purchased a quarter of a cow to stock our freezer and it came from the butcher wrapped in paper. We put each paper package inside a bag and sealed it. We also used this to vacuum pack our carrot and bean harvests to freeze and use throughout the winter. After the workout it got, it didn't appear tired at all. Since then we have purchased about 40lbs of chicken and various other bulk meats and packaged them each into individual use size packages and the machine kept up just as I wanted it to. We won't use this machine often since we buy in bulk but when we do it will certainly get a workout. I'm happy to have such a reliable and easy to use machine.

Easy as 1-2-3
Saving money is a top priority. FoodSaver® Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags is helping me do just that. I have a bigger machine but it's not always convenient to pull it out when I only need to seal one or two items. That is where the everyday Vacuum Sealer comes in. It is a more compact size but yet will still accommodate the full size larger bags. It does come with 5 precut bags to help get started with. It's east as 1-2-3 to use it. Put food item in bag, Set bag on sealer strip, close it down on bag making sure both sides click and then push the button. The light goes out when it's done. This machine is less noisy then my larger one. It sucks and seals quickly. I use this one more then my large one now. Great product and helps me save money on wasted groceries.

Great product for the price!
I would’ve given this five stars, because this was a great product for the price vacuum sealing and incredibly easy to use., However, I gave it four stars because of the non-removable, drip tray. Well, realizing I bought the least expensive sealer, come on guys, it should have a removable, drip tray.

A staple in my families daily routines
FoodSaver Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags is a go-to for mostly any foods to keep/stay fresh. Simple to use with 2 easy clicks (one each side), and the press of a button. The item stops when it is sealed correctly. It has become a daily usage in my home even for items people eat daily. The bags it comes with are very durable and I have not ever had any issues with leaks, rips, etc. I/we will continue to use this item and and purchase the pre-cut bags as the quality is superb.

Hello In order to seal or vacuum seal with our FoodSaver&reg; Everyday Vacuum Sealer please follow the steps below: 1. Using scissors, cut enough bag material from roll to hold item, plus 3 inches (7.62 cm). Be sure to cut straight. 2. Insert one end of bag material across Sealing Strip. 3. Firmly press down with your palm on both sides of the appliance lid to lock. Tip: You should feel and hear an audible click for each side when pushing down with the palms of your hands on the appliance lid, indicating the unit is fully locked. 4. Press Seal Button. 5. When Seal Indicator Light stops flashing and becomes constant, sealing is complete. Press Lid Release Buttons to open lid. We hope that this information will be helpful to you. Unit is overheated. Always allow 20 seconds between seals. Under heavy usage, appliance will shut off automatically and Seal Light will flash. Wait for 20 minutes for unit to cool off before attempting to use the appliance again. 2. Gaskets may be compressed. Leave the unit open and allow 10 to 20 minutes for Gaskets to expand.
