Buyer beware!!!!
Received this as a gift (so no receipt ). Disappointing to say the least! I read the instruction manual front to back. First time I used it I was freezing 4lbs. of hamburger meat. into 1 lb. packs. I placed them in the freezer for 1.5 hours then tried to seal them with my new vacuum sealer. They vacuumed and sealed fine. I went to use it again the following day, but it no longer works!!! I cleaned it out per the instruction manual, but neither the vacuum + seal or the handheld work. Really disappointed!!!

Sealed with an Ease
Been wanting this product for a while. Got it fairly quick. As soon as I saw it at my front door, I ran to it and opened it immediately. Didn’t waste any time and tested it. I have a couple of frozen snack that needs sealing and my oh my it works great! it super user friendly. The package came with a bottle cap which is perfect for my wine bottles. It has multiple sizes of food grade pack to get you started with. The handheld device is super efficient. Tested it with the bag that came with the product. Everything is so convenient and I highly recommend it for people who has a lot of frozen food and those who meal prep.

A great way to prep and freeze
I am so excited to receive this product! I have been wanting one of these for a while. I like to prep large quantities of food and freeze them, however I usually use just regular freezer gallon bags which sometimes causes freezer burn or for the food to not stay as fresh as long. This product is the perfect solution! I love that it has the large machine but also the small handheld piece to quickly and easily seal. The only downfall, is that these bags are kind of expensive, and it did not come with many so I will have to buy more soon. Luckily some of the bags are reusable which will be great for cost as well as the environment. Time will tell how well they hold up with reuse!

Love in.the kitchen.
I use this atleast 4 times a week. I use it more than little baggies. It is very easy to use and I love the handheld. I usually use my handheld. I love very thing about this. It is so durable and I could fall and not break. I used to use baggies for everything and my food didn't stay fresh now I can seal my good up...or you can really use anything.. but my food stays fresh..!!! You'll love this and it will change your kitchen life forever.. I get a 15 pound hamburger and split up and use my handheld and I can fit all the hamburger , in 1 pound increments on one side so I still have so much room. Love this!!!

My new favorite kitchen appliance
This foodsaver has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances! I love that it comes with the standard countertop vacuum sealer as well as a handheld one. I use the countertop sealer to seal any unused food (works great for extra meats and vegetables) to keep them fresh until I’m ready to use them again!
The foodsaver also makes marinating meat SO easy! That is definitely my most used feature with this!
As for size this is a great compact size so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my kitchen which is definitely something i look for when I’m looking for new kitchen appliances! If you’ve been thinking about wanted to get a vacuum sealer this one is the one i recommend for sure!!!

Easy to use, portable, and it’s a game changer when you need food to stay fresh & last longer
FoodSaver’s 2-in-1 Handheld+ Vacuum Sealer is an easy to use product that is both stationary and portable…I love it! Anyone at any age can use it.
It is well made, not heavy, and will meet most of your food preservation (vacuum/sealing) and small personal item storage (sealing) needs. The entire unit fits nicely on a kitchen counter or in a cabinet and the handheld device fits comfortably in your hand.
Though it’s easy to use, it’s imperative that you actually READ the Owner’s so that you don’t ruin the main and handheld vacuum sealer; as well as some food preparation steps for the best results.
When you need left-overs, fresh produce and fruit to last longer this product is a game changer during these difficult economic times.

The Gringo is exactly right! To seal the zipper bags. No mention in the manual or here either. After 8 months it just hit me what it is used for. So I came on to help other and the Gringo did already! Thanks Gringo!!
