Here’s a classic breakfast sandwich that makes an easy grab-and-go for busy mornings.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 tsp butter
• 1 egg
• 1 slice deli ham
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 English muffin, split
• 1 slice aged Cheddar cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Melt butter in small nonstick skillet set over medium heat. Crack egg into pan; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until whites are set around edges. Flip over; cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until yolk is almost set. Transfer to plate; let cool completely.
2.Add slice of ham to same skillet; cook over medium heat, turning once, for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden on each side. Let cool completely.
3.Spread mustard over bottom half of English muffin. Top with ham, fried egg and cheese slice. Cap with top half of English muffin.
4.Place sandwich in Microwavable Meal Prep Bag. Vacuum seal in bag as per FoodSaver® vacuum appliance guidelines. Freeze for up to 3 months.
5.When ready to cook, place bag printed side down in microwave oven. Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. (While cooking, the bag may slowly inflate and deflate. A vent in the bag will allow steam to escape and a slight whistling sound may be heard.)
6.Wait for 30 to 60 seconds before opening carefully.
Tip:Substitute smoked turkey for ham if desired.
