The 2-in-1 Handheld+ Vacuum Sealing System is the only system that combines the power of a countertop vacuum sealer, with the convenience of a cordless, handheld vacuum, for unmatched vacuum sealing versatility.
The countertop sealer is compatible with FoodSaver® bags and rolls, and keeps meat, seafood, and vegetables fresh. The detachable handheld unit is compatible with all FoodSaver accessories, including zipper bags, Preserve & Marinate vacuum containers, bottle stoppers, and jar sealers, to create an airtight seal that locks in freshness. The handheld vacuum pump is already built into the unit and works on its own. The larger countertop base simply serves as the charging dock for the handheld sealer. The Gringo is exactly right! To seal the zipper bags. No mention in the manual or here either. After 8 months it just hit me what it is used for. So I came on to help other and the Gringo did already! Thanks Gringo!!
