Handled feature is the best!
We received the FoodSaver Handheld +, the whole family was very excited for this product! The handheld feature is such a major plus for us! My 8 year old son had no issues using it and actually enjoyed using it to vacuum seal our veggies! The actual larger portion vacuum sealer did give us issues, it would not seal. It did vacuum the air out but would not seal after many attempts we finally got it to seal but for some reason it did not vacuum at the same time. I feel like this product has some kinks it needs to be worked out. We do love the handheld, very easy to use. Should have an option of just purchasing the handheld.

Multitasking wonder for any household
This vacuum sealer is a handy little addition to any household. It does a great job at sealing foods you're planning on putting in the freezer, but it also works for pantry staples such as oatmeal or rice. The coolest thing about this model, though, is the handheld device that you can use to marinate foods or to reseal wine bottles. I'm also looking forward to using this for sealing my phone, wallet, and car key when we go tubing on the river. I used to keep them in ziploc bags, but this sealed option makes me feel a lot more secure.
The only thing that I think could be improved for this model is having the built-in cutter for cutting the bags at the right size, like some other models do. However, it's not a big deal to cut the bags with scissors instead.

THIS THING IS AMAZING
I recently received the FoodSaver Vacuum Sealing System with a handheld sealer attachment and found it quite effective. The device is straightforward to use once you read the manual, and it doesn't take up much space, making storage easy.I've already used it a couple of times , primarily for freezing meat.It works well and keeps food fresh for longer periods. I should have thought of purchasing one sooner because it really does keep your food from developing fridge and freezer taste.

Lightweight, versatile and easy to use
We absolutely love FoodSavers! We have had several over the years. They are so easy to use and so easy to clean!
The portability of this one is a huge plus! I love that there is a removable portion that allows you to vacuum seal on the go. I also love that I can use it to remove oxygen from my open bottles of wine. I’m the type of person that loves to have a glass of wine, but often times the wine goes bad before I finish a bottle… Not a problem anymore!
The only major drawback is the power. This particular version is not as powerful as food savers that we have had in the past. It doesn’t seem to suck 100% of the air out when sealing, but it certainly minimizes the amount of oxygen present. Still, I would highly recommend this.
The color is beautiful, it is lightweight, super versatile and will save you tons of money (and keep you from wasting food)

Great product and easy to use
I love this tool. I’ve used it a lot since I got it, this is my new toy. It’s very convenient because it has the handheld included with it. I didn’t have a problem setting it up or using it. It sealed the bag very good and tight. Easy to clean as well. Handheld u can use on the go it even comes with bags for that specific handheld one. Definitely would recommend.

Great product for a busy lifestyle.
This product is a game changer. The new portable cordless addition to this made is so much more efficient. I can use it plugged in or use the cordless part for the reusable bags. It makes things so much easier for a mom who grows her own produce and packages her own meats. This really makes things so much easier for me.

Great for buying food in bulk
This product is fantastic to have! I love the look of it. It’s wonderful for buying meats in bulk and being able to freeze some of them. You can also use it to make little snack packs of food. The battery lasts long. it seems very well-made and durable. It does a great job at sealing completely.

The Handheld part of the unit charges while it is resting connected to the main unit and the fully charged battery allows to vacuum up to 35 quart zipper bags and run 4 marinate cycles on the 10-cup container. The main unit works while being connected directly to the outlet so it does not requires charging.
