Great product
I absolutely love this sealer. I have to get better at it. Lol. I sealed pork chops with marinade. I also did stew with veggies. Sealed great. Easy to load the bags. Love the hand held sealer. Works great for small bags. Will continue to use and vacuum seal all my meals for the weeks. Make life so much easier now I come home open heat and eat.

We are a hunting family. Bow season has arrived. The Foodsaver VS591
is the addition to your kitchen that every busy person or family
needs. Extremely convenient and very easy to use. We process some of our meat and I like to buy hamburger in bulk. This item has made packaging and storing the meat so fast convenient and super easy. I like to make some meals ahead and save leftovers. Have made a Autumn soup and froze no leaks. The meats and prepared meals have came out of the freezer just as fresh as the day I put them. I also have more room. The sealer senses the bag right away locks into place and seals it perfectly. It is so convenient with various options. I definitely recommend for everyone it is a great kitchen helper and saves you money and valuable time.

Vacuum seals and protects food
I've been thinking about getting a FoodSaver for a long time, and now I'm glad I finally did it. I'm primarily using it to keep bulk meat purchases from getting freezer burnt, but I could see using it for a lot of other reasons too due to it's customization features.
This FoodSaver has a compartment for a roll of bags (roll included) to allow you to create bags exactly the size you want. Because the roll is built into the machine, you don't need to go search for more bags. On the other hand, if you prefer the original type of bags, it can do that too. I also used it to seal a mylar type balloon my child wants to me "fix". The machine has a ton of options such as marinating OR vacuum. You can also select if your item is dry, moist, liquid, or being used sous vide.

very versatile
I haven't been able to try the liquid function yet. I like that it takes up less counter space than my previous 5600 series. I don't like how the bag cutter works with the roll stored on the back, because you have to pull the roll through the lid, seal, pull it the rest of the way and cut it off. When you do this, it pushes down on the lid activating it to seal again before you've filled the bag. So you have to quickly shut it off and proceed with cutting off the bag.

The FoodSaver VS5930 Elite All-in-One Liquid+™ Vacuum Sealer has made saving and storing a breeze, I like to prepare food and freeze food for another occasion and the foodsaver is an awesome tool to be able to save chicken, pork, and soups for extended periods of time without worrying that the food won’t be fresh and no risk of the bags ripping open in the freezer. My favorite feature about the FoodSaver VS5930 Elite All-in-One Liquid+™ Vacuum Sealer is that I am about prepare my favorite soups and be able to vacuum seal them and store them flat in the freezer saving me a ton of space. I have sealed so many things to extend shelf life like rice, beans, oatmeal and even candy I am so happy with my foodsaver and I can’t wait to try and seal different items, highly recommend.

Good product, but...
Smaller size means more countertop space and the vacuum motor is significantly quieter than previous models. One downer...having to manipulate the bag rolls to change from bag sealing to accessory use is a bit annoying. That being said, I would still recommend this moisture/liquid machine.

Nice but not supportive of older vacuum bowls
I love that it seals the next package when you cut the first one, but I do not like the new hand held device. It is round instead of oval so it does not fit the bowls I have from the original sealer.

Life Changing
This product is life changing if you are a food storage pro. There are SO many custom options to make sure you are storing food the exact way you want to, to prolong the life of your food. The fact that this can seal liquids is really a came changer. The build in sealer and cutter saves time and maximizes efficiency. There is truly NOTHING they haven't thought of when it comes to this. It was very easy to use after giving the instructions a quick once over. You NEED this in your life.

BEST FOODSAVER YET!! BIG TIMESAVER
Best Foodsaver yet!! Now when I put up fresh tomatoes and vegetables I can cook, cool and pour tomato juice or peas in water cooked in into foodsaver a foodsaver bag, set the liquid setting and foodsaver knows how much to vacuum and stops itself before liquids go over into machine and seals it. I lay bags down flat and freeze.
Before I had to put the foodsaver bags upright to freeze overnight and then pull out machine again to vacuum and seal. This new one is such a big TIMESAVER!!!

Must Remove the roll before sealing a bag
Received this Elite model yesterday and I can NOT believe you have t REMOVE the roll BEFRE you can seal a bag. This alone makes this unit terrible. A real failure of engineering.

FoodSaver Elite is a Money Saver!
I always wanted to try this product since my sister told me about hers. It took me a year to finally get one, but it was well worth the wait! It is very easy to use according to the instructions provided. I can freeze meat in one-person portions and it saves any waste on days when my husband and I feel like different things for dinner. Now I can buy chicken in bulk and save even more. No more expensive freezer bags that don't always prevent freezer frost and waste. No more trying to fit a lot of glass containers in my freezer that take up so much space. This FoodSaver Elite has done wonders for me and I just love it!It fits easily into a kitchen drawer or cabinet to take out and use once a week on grocery shopping day. I would definitely recommend it for gifting to friends and family any time of year!

Fantastic power and convenience
This vacuum sealer is fantastic it has the power to crush aluminum cans and the modes to seal liquid without making a mess. The seals so far have been flawless and strong and the bag roll storage in the back makes the whole system convenient and easy to use. The best part to me is the hands free starting where it senses the bag and clamps down automatically so you can use both hands to line the bags up perfectly. This sealer blows my old one out if the water I highly recommend it.

Love it!!
Received this amazing food saver vacuum sealer from Tryit Sampling and we have absolutely loved it! I had another one that wouldn’t seal right every time but this was makes it so simple and easy! Love the feature to bag soups for easy sealing and storing instead of something bulky in the freezer. This thing will be so handy stocking up on bulk buying and filling our freezer. Definitely a good one! Also came with bags and stuff to start out which is amazing for trying it out.

Cooking for One!
With being single and often cooking for myself, this FoodSaver Elite All-in-One is a huge help! I can buy meat ahead of time and vacuum seal it so that it stays fresh. I can also prep my meals ahead of time and keep them organized! I love how easy it is to use the food saver. It has multiple modes: dry, moist, liquid, and sous vide. I also enjoy being able to make custom bags! My experience in the kitchen has only improved since I added the FoodSaver. I'm glad I got it!

Please help
Received this as a replacement for a Foodsaver that stopped working. After using it for a few months the handheld attachment stopped vacuuming . I was told they couldn’t do anything because the warranty was up from the one they replaced was up. I have been with Foodsaver since their very first model. I ask if I paid the shipping if the could repair it. They said no. I asked if I could get a discount on a handheld sealer they told me they would but still didn’t get it.

Impressive range of features
I have only had the FoodSaver VS5910 a couple of days, but I have tested all the functions and it exceeds my expectations. Very strong suction power. It must be able to sense when to stop on the liquid vacuum because none of the sauce made it to the tray inside the machine. Nice create a sealed bag inside the machine instead of having to pull the bag out to seal the one end. Very light weight machine. Hopefully it will be as durable as my last 3 FoodSaver machines.

Love Sealing
OMG this is my husbands new toy. we love just freshly sealing meats, veggies and now my hubby is making smoothies, he freezes just enough so he can seal to have each morning. This food saver truly saves from freezer burn and keeps fresh veggies wonderful like I just bought them. We bought a freezer now that we got this saver to pack it with food saver packs . With prices of food going up this is a great investment. Very easy to use. Seals great. Highly recommend

Fantastic Food Saver
I got the food saver to try to help keep food fresh. I scanned the booklet and video about machine loaded. It was very helpful in understanding how the machine works. I really liked all the things I could put in these bags. I am able to buy meat in bulk and put in the bags. Also made vegetable soup and held the liquid with no spilling. It will be so good to have food that isn’t freezer burned. Such a great machine you have to buy one. It will be a big time saver.

Great Machine
This FoodSaver/Sealing Machine helps to save money and us to not be wasteful. It’s also great to be able to seal soups and sauces. It has Six custom settings. I received a Foodsaver VS5930 Elite All-in-One Liquid + Vacuum Sealer it came with bags, roller & Accessories. This sealer is Amazing, it works so good on packaging meats to any size meal you’re preparing, as you get to cut the bags to the size you need. I was a little scared to try on sauces but when I did it was great and now I make lots of homemade things and freeze them. I am so glad I got this food saver. I would highly recommend this product.

Wonderful automatic bag detection
We ordered our new Foodsaver because of its bag detection feature. Our previous Foodsaver forced you to hold your filled bag in place while depressed both ends of bag sealer activation control (very awkward). The sealing process on our new unit is much easier and quicker. To improve this model, a separate path for the bag cutoff/end sealer would be helpful so the bag roll end wouldn’t have to be pulled out of way before inserting the filled bag.

Great Machine-kitchen must have
This is the finest FoodSaver I have purchased to date. We prepare meals in the crock pot and freeze in FoodSaver bags so we have a wide variety of choices at meal time. This machine allows us to freeze not only solid foods, but also soups and stews, which we love. I have been a FoodSaver customer since the early 1980's when I purchased my first machine at a fish and tackle show in San Diego. Barely a day goes by that I don't use the machine.

It's my kitchen savior
As a family of 2, embarrassingly we waste a lot of food. Sometimes the quantity is too much and we're not home often. Also, when I cook I weirdly cook more than we need..Anyway, with the FoodSaver it's easier for me to save left overs and cook in bulk to save time in the kitchen. It was a bit intimidating when first pulling it out of the box but the instructions are clear and they give you everything to get started. Also, no freezer burn!

A must have for every home!
I thoroughly believe this is a MUST have in every kitchen. This is my second food saver and I get more impressed every time. Built-in roll/bag cutter, reusable bag capabilities, liquid vacuum features and it adds months/ years to food storage?! This awesome machine does it all. Since using food saver I've probably saved hundreds of dollars in food waste, I'm positive of that. You need this appliance, you won't be disappointed. I guarantee it!

I have had a foodsaver for years and loved it. The Elite All-in-one Liquid plus is wonderful. It has so many great features. It automatically detects that I have placed a bag in and it seals it. It stores bag rolls so you make your own custom bag and has a built-in cutter. I love that it seals liquid. If you are looking for an upgraded food saver this is the one. Also, it has a handheld sealer so you can seal containers. I love it!!

Works but not well designed
I bought this as a replacement for my third Foodsaver machine. Based on the price and the features I thought this was perfect. After several months, I've found this machine works well doing the job, but it is poorly designed and far from user friendly as my other ones were. The bag feed and seal system is poor and the way the machine operates is not easy to use.

Needs refinement.
I have issues with how to store the device. The place to store the power cord isn't user friendly. Not enough room to wind the power cord up. In addition I'm afraid that the lid will break at some point in time because the instruction manual states don't store in the operate mode because the gaskets will become deformed. This leaves the sealing lid flopping in the breeze. Poor design on both fronts. Otherwise sealer works as designed.
