food sealer
I thought this was rather difficult to use. Also the instruction book was not good, very vague on instructions. There were also a couple pieces that were included that I'm not sure what you did with them, nothing in the instructions mentioned anything about them. It took me about 6 tries to get the vacuum to work. I found you have to have quite a bit more of the plastic than the size of the food in order to get it to vacuum. There was very little of the plastic and bags needed included with the appliance, so you would have to purchase that also. All in all, it would be quite pricey to use. On the plus side, if you can get it to vacuum seal, I think it would very nicely preserve the food item.

Small and Vacuum Seals
The Foodsaver VS1210 helps extend the life of food by vacuum sealing and the machine doesn’t take up too much room. I like that the machine can be stored flat or vertically, which makes it easy to put away the Foodsaver when not in use. The downside of this being a space saving version of a Foodsaver is that it doesn’t have a bag or roll cutter installed inside. I don’t mind just using a pair of scissors instead and rather have a smaller machine. The machine is easy to use with just three buttons. I like that it also has the ability to use other Foodsaver accessories in addition to sealing bags. It did not take much of a learning curve to use this machine. I don’t find it any less powerful than full size Foodsavers. One negative of this machine is that it does require a bit of muscle strength to lock the machine down before being able to use it. The cover has to be pressed on both sides before you can start to seal or vacuum which might be difficult for some people with strength issues. The Foodsaver is useful to store groceries in the freezer and to separate up items bought in bulk. I also like to use it to seal things like bags of chips and other snacks. I think this is a good vacuum sealer overall and especially good if you are low on space and want one with a smaller footprint.

Great Product!
I picked up a FoodSaver Space Saver Vacuum Sealing System. Best thing I did! This is perfect for large families or singles. You can buy bulk or family size meat/chicken products when on sale and vacuum pack the number of pieces you need for a future meal. This is definitely cost saving. So simple to use with easy to follow instructions. The FoodSaver is also small enough for easy storage. It comes with an adapter, accessory hose, 2 qt bags. 2 gallon bags and a roll 11in x 8ft. No more freezer burn!

Works well
Got this to freeze excess food purchased on sale/ Costco/ about to expire. Works great. Much better than I can do using a straw and lung power, or immersion in water. Also, I’ve been using it to save old photos, so I don’t have to worry about water or mould damage. Just for fun, I tried saving half an avocado with it. Couldn’t believe it. The avocado was just like fresh 3 days later.

Easy to Use
The FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealer is super easy to use once you get the hang of it. By that I mean making sure the bag is in the proper spot before sealing or using the vac feature. There were times where I would notice it wasn't vacuuming out the air, in that case I just opened up the top and re-positioned the bag and it worked again. I really like that it comes with bags to get you started on the process which allows you to learn how to use the bags and also cutting and sealing to make your own bags using the rolls. It comes with a little hose too just in case you have to Foodsaver containers. Its very slender and doesn't take up much room on the counters.

The FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealer has a sleek compact design to save counter space. It comes with one (1) 11" X 8 roll, two (2) quart sized bags, two (2) gallon sized bags, one (1) accessory hose, and one (1) adaptor.
The FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealer vacuums and seals quickly.
This foodsaver does NOT have a built-in roll holder or a place to stash the cord when not in use. You will also need to keep a pair of scissors handy to cut out the desired length from the roll, as this foodsaver also does NOT have a built-in cutter.

Easy to Use
The FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealer is great to use. I cook a lot of chicken (for health and fitness) and we buy ours in 2-pound packaging. I like to separate my chicken into 4 oz single-serving packaging for easy preparation when I am ready to cook. We also travel a lot, so I have limited freezer space in our travel trailer, so putting the chicken in a portion size helps me with storage. I love using the FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealer to help me separate my chicken quickly. I recommend this item for anyone looking for a Space Saving Vacuum Sealer.

Perfection in EVERY way!
This FoodSaver is my pick of the year! Above 5 stars! It’s so simple to use with just the push of a button. It’s fast! It’s quiet! It makes a very durable seal in a second! It comes with bags that you can fill and it comes with a roll that you can make your own size bag. With the cost of groceries I have saved money using my foodsaver! My food is still fresh and tasty afterwards. The design and quality are exceptional. It’s space saving and the craftsmanship is beautiful and well thought. I highly recommend this product. Beyond anything on the market!
