Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh I’m still so angry about buying this machine. I’ve had it for 4 years. The plastic broke off where it goes into the machine and pushes in on the sensor so it doesn’t seal. It broke after 2 years, I superglued it because I couldn’t find my receipt and Foodsaver refused to warranty it. So I superglued it 3 more times and now I’m just over trying to fix it so I have to replace it. $200+ for a product with a 5 year warranty that didn’t even last 2. I suppose it’s my fault for losing the receipt but this was such a frustrating experience. Even with that I had issues with it just running forever trying to deal and it never hitting the right spot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm sorry that I bought this one. After my old Foodsaver finally died, I purchased this one, stupidity without reading the reviews. This was a much newer model, but a total downgrade. I use the premade bags, so the bag making is wasted on me. My biggest issue is holding the bag, while using 2 hands to push the stupid bar to get it sealing. My last one was MUCH older, and AUTOMATICALLY started sealing the bag once it was inserted. I will never understand WHY they went backwards with this model!! This is my 4th or 5th Foodsaver and sadly, it's the one I liked LEAST. I should have returned it, but it was a few months before I used it, because of COVID. Now I'm stuck with it. I'll figure it out eventually I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy with my decision! I bought my FoodSaver FM5000 Series 2-in-1 Sealing System and Starter Kit and I love it!! It is so easy to use and I feel so much more secure in the fact of knowing that by vacuum sealing my meat, poultry and seafood, they will stay fresher longer and there is little or no chance of freezer burn. I am even helping my daughter out by vacuum sealing her meat and poultry because she buys in bulk for her family when it's on sale, and now she knows that it is safer in her freezer for longer. Plus, the vacuum sealed packages lay flat and take up less space! So happy with my purchase!

THE WORST mistake ever. we have had it now for 8 months and it still won't work to suck the air out no matter what we do. We have had to throw out $100 dollars of meat because thought it was sealed and when we went to pull it out of freezer the seal did not stay sealed or vacuumed pack. Looking for another brand to buy because we are so displeased. I tried to get help with it back in May or so, then COVID hit and kind of lost track of it until we needed it again..and it didn't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I purchased a V3425 FoodSaver from a local Walmart years ago. I was so impressed with this machine. It started loosing vacuum but still worked. I decided to upgrade to a newer model so I purchased the FM4560. It worked great for a while but now it's hit and miss on a good vacuum. I have noticed the bags are loosing the vacuum as well. What happen to the quality of your products. My old model has better vacuum and reliability than my new model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this machine from all the good reviews and I'm disappointed. When I press the lever 1/2 the time it doesnt start sealing... I need someone to hold the bag so it dont fall out and someone to hit the lever in the right spot so it starts vacuuming. Sometime when it vacuum's it doesnt pull all the air out of the bag or when it starts sealing some air gets back in.The juices from the meats also get sucked our of the bag and I cant get to it correctly to clean it. I will be getting a different one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Updates I wore my old one out, so I had to get a new one. I chose this one because I like the feature that my next bag bottom is sealing while I finish my first bag. I love the ease of changing the bag sizes quickly, and I love the ability to use my wine stoppers, and my wide-mouth & regular jar sealer. Although I rarely use the zip-lock vacuum bags, I do use them for storing cheeses, so the dual ability is a plus.

Followed directions PRECISELY EVERYTIME!!! ....Then it works one time and not the next!!!!!! NOT KIDDING EITHER!!!! Its like its got a mind of its own!!!! 150.00 for a gadget that only works every other time.....and thats after jacking with it for 20 minutes!!!!! I am also talking about the vacuum & seal part of it ...not the small vacuum attachment because it worked everytime .... BUT IT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH A BAG... MUCHLESS VACUUM AND SEAL IT!!!!! My happiest moment with this thing WAS THROWING IT CLEAR ACROSS MY KITCHEN AND PICKING UP 4 PIECES AND TRASHING THEM!!!!!!!!!!
