I’m not impressed with my FoodSaver.
My FoodSaver wasn’t sealing anymore. I thought it was maybe the gaskets. I ordered new ones, put them in and it still won’t seal. It isn’t even that old. I’m disappointed and will be purchasing a different brand.

Inexpensive Fix
My food saver stopped vacuuming the air enough to get to the seal function. I read about changing the gaskets and decided to try before relaxing the unit. To my surprise, this inexpensive fix solved the issue!

No Gaskets
Are these gaskets going to be available soon if not I will just return the vs 3197 model food saver to Costco I've have been using this product for about 9 months 2 to 5 times a week and now have to push down on the sealer top to get the it working. Signs the gaskets are failing, the vacuum sealer is great, but the gaskets you recommend changing once a year are impossible to find here in Sudbury Ontario

buy a gasket at the time of purchasing a machine
Hi, about 3 yrs ago I have bought the FFS005x, the gasket might be leaking as it's no longer sucking the air out. It sucks that it doesn't suck. ☺️
Unfortunately, I can't find any replacement. please for such a strong brand, make sure to keep providing these items. So sad to have an unusable machine just for a 10$ solution.

Your website cost over a hundred dollars
Looked up the part online using model number, ordered the part and when I tried to change ripen the old gasket. Had trouble installing so I called for help, only to find out they are non replaceable. So due to a poor and wrong website I have a machine that is now useless. Can I get a refund or replacement? Is is your fault

Didn't realize how worn down mine had become
I noticed sometimes it didn't want to suck air. I finally figured out the gaskets were worn down. I got extra ones for the future while I could. Seems like newer version is out and I hope they don't stop making these as the machine works wonderfully. My machine is again sucking the air out and sealing away!

Gaskets revived my Food saver
My food saver stopped removing all the air from the bag, so I went to their website and found my answer. Gaskets needed replacing. I ordered from Food Saver, took old ones out, new ones in
And now works like new. My food saver lives on my counter and use it frequently.

Returning to Costco
I love my Food Saver. I use it so much that the gaskets are wearing out and making it hard to seal. Instead of offering a replacement for the gaskets you are going to force me to take it back instead. I’m sure Costco appreciates the way you do business as well.

Gasket to improve vacuum.
I was not getting the vacuum I needed. I replaced the gasket. Performance was better, but not good enough, found that if I press lightly on the food saver it worked much better. I’m not sure if it’s a gasket issue or a latching issue.

Very poor.
This part didn't fix the issue. This machine is the absolute WORST vacuum sealer I've ever owned. It doesn't produce enough vacuum and the seal is worthless and breaks free before I can move the package from the machine to the freezer.

This is a great product
Sturdy freezer safe food saver. We have an upright freezer and store foods that we always date sometimes inadvertently for up to two years. Food Saver vacuum bags makes em taste as good as frozen a month ago. Love these things.
