WILL THIS item EVER be available AGAIN?

Gasket failure
I hope these gaskets last longer than the originals. Had to buy another sealer bc the replacement gaskets were not available. Now I have two sealers. The product is not too shiny in my opinion, so far.

DISSAPOINTED in FoodSaver
I purchased replacement upper and lower gaskets for my FoodSaver because it no longer vacuum seals. This did nothing to correct the problem. Very disappointed. I have not had the FoodSaver that long. I would expect that the appliance would last longer than it has. In reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem.

Web site unclear which models these fit. Tore mine apart and that was wrong. But foodsaver company helped me, it was still under warranty

Serial number and model number was given for replacement gasgets, wrong one's were sent and no email from foodsaver, no acknowledgement I was charged for the wrong item sent to me. Thanks

SEALS ARE KNOWN TO FAIL. FOODSAVER IS NEGLIGENT.
Have had the product just over a month; used it 2 times and the seals already failed. Foodsaver is aware of this defect. Replacements are not available. I will contact your support and request a refund. I am also escalating this to all companies (especially Amazon) and let them know this is a faulty product and cannot be fixed. Also contacting the BBB in the U.S.

Good as new
These new gaskets made my sealer like new! I was having issues with the bags sealing due to the old gaskets being warped due to my own misuse of the machine. These new gaskets need to be installed at the curved ends first and then work the gasket into the channel along the long sides. This is because the material is flexible and will stretch if you try to work it around the channel in one long attempt. So glad I was able to get my sealer back in use!

Don't buy this brand!
The gaskets are fine if they fixed the vacuum problem the machine has but alias the device is trash and a waste of money. Buy a different brand bc this one is NOT worth the money. Did not even last a year and the only option is to buy something else from any other manufacturer.

Planned obsolescence does not impress this customer. With no gasket replacement this otherwise fully functional unit is trash. Should have bought the Chinese knock off, they at least have replaceable gaskets.
