Hose did not fit the accessory port on my recently
This started because wrong information was given for the hose I purchased. Both from a contact question I sent and FAQ's for the hose in question. Both sources said it would fit my model, FM2000. It did not fit or work as I was told it would. So I gave a bad review. That apparently prompted them to send me a gasket. That's right, I said a gasket, not a hose or more importantly, the correct hose. I responded to an e-mail they sent informing me they were sending me a gasket by telling them they were screwing up again, paraphrased. It didn't stop them, they sent the gasket I didn't need and so I'm still left in need of the correct hose.

Bought Replacement Hose
I used to use my FoodSaver all the time with canisters, bags, etc. and then it stopped working. I had severe health problems for the past several years so I never looked into what was wrong. We continued to use the FoodSaver to reseal chip bags, etc. but the canisters were stored away. This summer my daughter helped me clean out my cupboards and since I was feeling better I looked at my old hose and discovered it was the reason things weren't sealing. I ordered a new one and I'm back to using all of my canisters, marinating meat, etc. What a shame I didn't do it several years ago. I could have saved a lot of food that ended up spoiling over the years. The FoodSaver products are great!

Just what I expected but not universal
Even though this is just the vacuum hose to help with my bottle sealing, it is just what I expected and needed. It does the job and it works perfectly. I only gave it 4 stars because it is not a universal hose. It can only be used between the heat sealers with a hose vacuum port. You cannot use it with the handheld vacuum sealer. I was hoping to be able to use it for both but no. If it had been universal between both of my sealers I would have given it 5 stars.

Replacement part for a really old FoodSaver
When I recently moved, I found buried in the back of our cabinet an old FoodSaver machine with some supplies and a bunch of canisters (purchased by the ex-wife and then forgotten about -- but I won't go there). It worked great for the make-your-own bags, but the little tube for the canisters was missing. I ordered a replacement tube on this site. Price was a little high for a simple plastic tube, but I expected that when ordering replacement parts. It came promptly and works great.
Now that I have moved and I'm doing the cooking (for fewer people), the FoodSaver lets me buy larger quantities at cheaper prices and freeze the part I don't need. I mostly wanted the tube so that I could use the canisters for marinading meats more quickly, and it does a great job for that.

Product works well
I had to purchase a Foodsaver accessory hose from the website as mine somehow was lost. It works great. The only reason I scored the value as average was because the part was a low cost part and the actual cost of shipping was more than twice the cost of the part. Other than that, Food Saver's website is very user friendly and easy to find what you need.

Better than expected
This replaces the original hose attachment that was included with my Foodsaver machine. After 10 years of use, it finally wore out. This feels more substantial than the original, and fits as beautifully! Well done Foodsaver!!

No help
I ordered the hose the same day as when mine broke. The hose that was sent did not click into the food saver. I tried holding it down, and it didn't help. I can no longer use my quick marinating canister until I find the right hose. Not happy!

accessory hose quandry
I ordered this device hoping to be able to use the plastic air nozzle to replace the one on my FoodSaver vacuum machine which had broken. Unfortunately, there was no way that I could figure out how to remove the nozzle(s) there was one at each end of the tube) and use it on my machine.
I suppose, if one knew how this device is supposed to be used, that it would be very useful, but, since there were no instructions enclosed with the device, nor any apparent way that it could be attached to the vacuum machine that I could discern, it ended up being useless to me.
I'm not being critical of the accessory hose, I just can't use it. Instead, I bought a new model of the FoodSaver which works much better than my old one did. If I had a criticism to make it would focus on the fact that, because of one small plastic external part being broken, I found it necessary to replace the entire machine.
I readily admit that the new, better designed machine is far easier and more convenient to use than my old one which, except for one small broken part, is otherwise still usable.
All other considerations aside, I really like the new machine.
