Our warranty for certain FoodSaver products only extends to purchases from authorized sellers, and purchases from unauthorized sellers are not covered under warranty. Why is this requested?
Our products have limited warranties. The date you purchased or received the item will be used to help determine the eligibility of your product for the warranty. If you received your product as a gift, please provide the date the gift was received.
Where is this and why is this requested?

The Date Code can usually be found stamped on the metal prong of the electrical cord or on the bottom of the product. The format of this will be a letter followed by three numbers (eg. K123).

The Cordless Handheld Sealer date code is located at the bottom where the liquid chamber is removed.
