Outstanding Food Saver
Seriously, I am so excited about the FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer. I spend so much money on groceries just to have them spoil or get stale. It is just my husband and myself and we just don't finish a box or bag of something at a meal setting. Then when I come back to use the product at a later date I have to throw it out. I really like the precut bags because they are so easy to use in the machine. But, I don't think making my own bags from the Saver Roll would be difficult at all to create my own bags because the machine is just so easy to use. I am thrilled with this amazing product! I am so happy about reducing my food waste.

Excellent machine.
I am so happy I tried this vacuum sealer! While not super feature rich, this is just what I needed as someone who has just become acquainted with vacuum sealing; I could never be without it now. It has significantly cut down my time standing over the stove and has been so helpful to make weekday meals fast and easy when my family is so busy. I would definitely first freeze anything with some liquid. When sealing a bag with spaghetti and meat sauce, I had a bit of leaking as the air was sucked out. Now, everything from fresh meats to meal prepped lunches are being vacuum sealed. A great compact and easy to use first machine!

Perfect choice for bulk buying!
My husband and I purchased a quarter of a cow to stock our freezer and it came from the butcher wrapped in paper. We put each paper package inside a bag and sealed it. We also used this to vacuum pack our carrot and bean harvests to freeze and use throughout the winter. After the workout it got, it didn't appear tired at all. Since then we have purchased about 40lbs of chicken and various other bulk meats and packaged them each into individual use size packages and the machine kept up just as I wanted it to. We won't use this machine often since we buy in bulk but when we do it will certainly get a workout. I'm happy to have such a reliable and easy to use machine.

Easy as 1-2-3
Saving money is a top priority. FoodSaver® Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags is helping me do just that. I have a bigger machine but it's not always convenient to pull it out when I only need to seal one or two items. That is where the everyday Vacuum Sealer comes in. It is a more compact size but yet will still accommodate the full size larger bags. It does come with 5 precut bags to help get started with. It's east as 1-2-3 to use it. Put food item in bag, Set bag on sealer strip, close it down on bag making sure both sides click and then push the button. The light goes out when it's done. This machine is less noisy then my larger one. It sucks and seals quickly. I use this one more then my large one now. Great product and helps me save money on wasted groceries.

Absolutely in love!
My review of FOODSAVER - FoodSaver® Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags is that it’s absolutely amazing and I absolutely love it! It’s so simple to use and works absolutely flawlessly and small enough to hide in any cabinet! I love the pre fit bags which makes life so much easier! Not to mention the food is great after frozen and defrosted! It’s quiet and simple to use and is definitely a keeper! I’d highly recommend it!

Convenient and useful
Absolutely loving the FoodSaver Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags! It's like a magic trick for keeping food fresh way longer than usual. I'm no kitchen whiz, but this thing is a piece of cake to use, and it's already saved me money by making sure my groceries last. Plus, it's not even a hassle to store when I'm not vacuum-sealing everything in sight.

A staple in my families daily routines
FoodSaver Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags is a go-to for mostly any foods to keep/stay fresh. Simple to use with 2 easy clicks (one each side), and the press of a button. The item stops when it is sealed correctly. It has become a daily usage in my home even for items people eat daily. The bags it comes with are very durable and I have not ever had any issues with leaks, rips, etc. I/we will continue to use this item and and purchase the pre-cut bags as the quality is superb.

Money Saver
This vacuum seal system is fantastic and helps me save a ton of money. I can now purchase my meats in bulk and seal and freeze for later use with no worries about freezer burn ruining the quality, texture and flavor. I have done the same with some of my fruits and veggies. The unit is lightweight, and takes up very little space in my cabinet. The bags are fairly inexpensive and easy to find at the local supermarket. All in all I would highly recommend to anyone on a budget!!

Hello! This unit is compatible only with bags and liquids can be vacuum sealed in bags as follows: Before you vacuum seal liquids such as soup stock, pre-freeze in a casserole dish, loaf pan or ice cube tray until solid. Remove frozen liquid from pan and vacuum seal in a FoodSaver Bag. You can stack these &ldquo;frozen bricks&rdquo; in your freezer. When you&rsquo;re ready to use, just cut corner of bag and place in a dish in microwave or drop into water at a low simmer, below 170&deg;F (75&deg;C). You may also pre-freeze the liquid in a FoodSaver Bag, for about 1 hour, then take it out and vacuum seal it, just like any other type of food. Is this unit as hard to use and inconvenient as the Model # FM5460 that I have? To load the bag roll, you have to remove it from the shelf and turn it sideways to load. Many times it shuts down because of the moisture tray which is always dry.
