For units with removable gaskets, remove the lower gasket, turn it over and re-insert it into the track that runs around the vacuum channel. Also, check the other gasket.&amp;nbsp;&#10;&#10;2. It may be necessary to pre-freeze moist/soft food items to prevent moisture from compromising an effective vacuum/seal. These items include meats, fish, poultry, soft fruits, and blanched vegetables.&amp;nbsp;&#10;&#10;3. Test your FoodSaver by operating it without a bag. Allow the unit to complete the cycle. When the unit shuts off, lift the lid and gently touch the heat strip.
