Sous vide combo packI bought these bags to expand my Sous Vide experience. I wanted to try my hand at beef brisket. The gallon bags were the right size after I cut the brisket in half. The brisket came out perfect after 36 hrs. This is my preferred method in the future for most meat!

Seals fail in Sous VideI just purchased the entire system a week ago. The seals worked great for storing food. However, when I started to use the bags in my sous vide it was a different story. After cooking turkey thighs for 24 hours I went to pull the bag out. As I was allowing the water to drip from the outside of the bag the bottom seal opened. At this point all my food fell into the water ruining any possibility of making gravy from the juices. I’ve tried putting three seals across the bottom. I’ve tried pressing seal twice in the same spot. The seals always look perfect, not gaps, no wrinkles, nothing. But the always fail.
