Looking for Zippered bags to use in the freezer
I love my FoodSaver system that I use to freeze food. I was so excited to see a zippered bag that could be used to store food. Unfortunately, I bought them with the purpose of using them in the freezer and am disappointed that they are not recommended to use that way. As a product idea...it would be wonderful to have zippered bags that can be used to freeze food. It would be so helpful to use with items like meatballs and hot dogs...items that I would need to use just a few at a time and then I could re-vaccuum the bag and put the rest in the freezer.

Life with ease
I have used your vacuum zipper bags for at least 10 years if not longer. I am 74 years old. These bags are so convenient and easy to use. The quality is awesome. They last forever I use them for anything that I need to put in a bag wet dry everything. I no longer have a use for my large bag Sealer so it’s in the pantry on the shelf and there if I really need it my vacuum sealer bag is on the counter because I use it that often it’s small and takes up so little space I love to give things that I use as gifts to others I have given all my grandchildren and daughter-in-law and girlfriends a small vacuum sealer and they love them. Thank you for making this awesome product.

Good experience
A while back I purchased your hand held device. It only worked a few times and it would not change again.....I wrote to you and filled out all the paperwork required and send documentation to you. I just received my new hand held device in the mail. I am using it and it it is wonderful....I ran out of quart bags and now have to order more. I just wanted to thank all of you for your curtesy and patience with me. I am so greatfull! .This is a great little gadget and I love itr....It saves me a lot of time and money freezing things. Seal Port design flaw
I am very pleased with the handheld vacuum sealing unit. It functions quite well, it's fast, the size works for my hands which I feel are average in size, and it fits nicely in my "gadget" drawer along with it's charger, so the two are always sharing the same compact organizer section. It charges in about 30 minutes, with a charge lasting in proportion to how many bags you are sealing. Thus far, it has never run "out of gas" in the middle of food packaging. I don't do marathons in that area.
The bags are very sturdy, I still have the first batch I bought, but I treat them with care. They never go in the microwave or dishwasher. They are hand washed with very warm water and dish soap. I use a sponge, never letting them mix in the sink with cutlery or anything that could damage them. They are rinsed with warm water partially dried with a clean dish towel then turned upside down over a bottle or whatever will hold them so they can air dry. When dry, I place them flat in a box just for them and that's all there is. The only problem that I have with both sizes is the small plastic tape-like disc that covers the vacuum port has fallen off a good number of my bags. Now they can't be vacuum sealed any more, just used as regular storage bags I counted them just before writing this, I have 8 gallon & 10 quart size that the seal patch has fallen off. I could understand this if I did not take care of these rather pricey bags, but I am quit careful with them and no one in my house uses them but me. I haven't purchased any more because of this issue. It's a simple fix and should be corrected by the manufacturing process. I loved the concept when it came out, but have been so disappointed with the outcome. I will add that this was not one batch of bags it was 4 separate purchases. I did this because I was fed up with being over run with plastic storage containers crowding my pantry. I would appreciate a reply in regard to this review.

Life changing!
These bags are absolutely fantastic! I love that I can reseal them after using whatever I put inside and I don't feel guilty throwing it away. And I'm saving money, too!

Horrible customer service
Did not order. CS also cancelled, items still shipped. CS doesn’t return my calls! I have disputed unauthorized charges! Review written lacking personal experience? Are you kidding me? It was from personal experience. I am disputing it with my bank. I did not order, when I saw it was being shipped, I called and they said it was cancelled. I still have the emails. Yet, it was sent anyway and charged to my credit card! It is unauthorized and I’m disputing it. Funny how no one has ever gotten back to me regarding the problem or unauthorized charge!

Great for freezing berries and nuts
I vacuum pack blueberries and pecans for freezing. They are good for at least a year if we don't finish them off first.
These bags are good but not perfect. Some bags lose vacuum over time. One of the packages noted they aren't for freezer storage. If not, what's the point. If I see one has lost vacuum I just vacuum it again.
