I happened to notice that your company has shaved an inch off the length...and you haven't bothered to change the product picture that indicates the product is 8x11 when, in fact, they are all 8x10 now. Not sure how a QUART sized bag can still be a quart when an inch is gone from the size. I won't be purchasing anymore.

I tried the bags with the liquid seal also and it doesn't help with it. I just have to use a paper towel to clean between the flaps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Work great for use with my vacuum sealer. I have a VacMaster vacuum sealer that I use almost daily. I have 3 sizes of the 3 mil bags for this sealer, but sometime I need bags larger than the smallest bag and smaller than the medium sized one. I can make bags from the Foodsaver bag rolls, but sometimes using these bags is much more convenient. Yes, they cost a little more than the bag rolls, but they are worth it for the time they save me in cutting and sealing one end of bags when using the bag rolls. I still use the bag rolls at times, but use these when I have a package or two that need a larger bag than the ones I have for the vacuum sealer.

They are the perfect size for 1-2 serving of just about anything. Having to cook & bake 3 meals a day separate from what everyone else is eating, being able to do several at a time, throw them in the freezer, grab them at a moments notice, have them taste ALMOST as delicious as the day I made them...has made my life challenges less challenging :o). Thank you Food Saver for your machines and bags. You (literally) saved my life.

They are thinner and flimsier than quart bags have been. My boxes only contained 43 bags - not 44. Size , quality, quantity is not up to par. On the positive side, all the bags I have used sealed.

About 3 weeks ago I gave my brother some turkey that was cutup, sealed in a FS bag and frozen. He said he thawed & cked for any spoilage, etc. - found none & said tasted great. The date on the frozen turkey was Nov. 2014. He just ate it last week about 6/7/2018. The dates alone should show people just how well these Food Saver Sealers & Bags work!!!! - He decided he was going to have to start using the FS sealer I given him several years ago. (my old one)

Since they do not come by the 100 count, they are a little bit more expensive, but not much. They work well so I would recommend them. I use them mostly for wild game and fish filets.

I purchase meats in family packs, and being single, I break them down into individual servings. Having the vacuum seal helps preserve these meats even longer, so its a WIN WIN for me. Also use for baking zucchini breads, or even grated zucchini, they're the best. I've also frozen items as soup in another container, then moved them to these quart bags to be vacuum sealed and still fresh when I remove them from the freezer.

The freezer bags are fine, but the refrigerator bags break their seal in a day or two and are not reusable as claimed. I think the best way to use this machine is with Ball Jars and the Ball Jar Sealer, also the wine sealer works great. The refrigerator bags? Forget it.

This size is really handy for in season and homegrown veggies for soups and stews. I save so much money by doing this. Also perfect size for double crust sliced apple pie fillings. So nice to go to freezer and see rows and stacks of foods that I have prepared and stored using my FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer and FoodSaver bags. Comfort in knowing the foods are completely protected from any freezer burn or crossover flavors. Satisfaction in knowing that I really have saved money by not losing foodstuff to spoilage. You can't do any better than that. Again thank you FoodSaver for my peace of mind in knowing that I have a product that I can trust.

Many things do not fit as well such as bacon. Wish I had known before ordering. This should have been noted on the package.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheryl Green from Bag Failure This is the second year that I ordered three boxes of the Quart-size bags - they work so well for our garden produce and making family-sized meat packs into meals for two. Last weekend we were freezing sweet corn....I was at the end of the last box of bags from last year so opened a new one before starting to vacuum the bags. Moving right along until one of the bags refused to vacuum...hmmm..that had never happened before I thought it was a fluke, so I wiped the sealing area of the Food Saver, the edges of the bag, and turned off the machine to let it rest - I was on bag ten of 20. After five minutes or so I tried to vacuum seal the bag again. Nope - still wouldn't seal. Pulled another bag from the pile and transferred the corn to a new bag....Wow this bag seemed to be heavier and maybe a different material - and it vacuumed without issue. Closer examination I saw that some of last years' bags were mixed in with the new. I had two more failures with the new bags - but eventually got the bags to vacuum seal. I only ended up wasting two bags out of 20 - but that is 10% failure rate....

These bags are of good quality but are shorter by an inch than indicated on the box pictured on the FoodSaver website: 8” x 10”, not 8” x 11”. The bags I previously used were 8” x 11.5” per the original box, so FoodSaver has been shrinking the bag size over time, such that they now hold less volume.
