The best size bags and convenient
I love these bags, the best! So easy to use, just the perfect size for all my freezing needs. Best part Food Saver gets them on sale where you buy one box get the other box free, it's the BEST deal EVER! Thank you Food Saver. I use my machine weekly, sometimes daily. Best investment ever buying one of these machines. I live by myself and I cook a bunch of meals at the beginning of the month and save all my food so the entire month I grab a bag emerge it in a bowl of cold water and within 20-25 mins. it's defrosted and heat it up or stick in the oven if I want crispness (I take out of bag for heating). I love their quality and effectiveness.

Keeps foods, especially meats fresher longer
I use this sealer atleast once a week . Usually after food shopping from a acme, Shoprite. Etc. I use & have all the accessories besides the bags. I use the vacuum bowls, the marinate vacuum container. I do have the bags on a roll that u cut to size. Mainly uses for this sealer. 95% are favorable in the pro column. The couple cons are the prices of the bags. Which are way too expensive. No need to... charge a dollar for 1 bag that probably cost 10 cents to make. After i spent in the neighborhood of $200.00 bucks on the vacum/ sealer machine. the pre cut bags should come in a wider size. And 1 other thing. If u r going to overcharge the public like food saver does. Don't make it so u need to feed 4 inches in to seal a bag

Quality has gone down
The sealer is great! I have 2. I purchased these bags for years. My last purchase of gallon, quart bags and portion control roll had many that didn't hold seal and maybe even seemed thinner. The portion control bags ripped when I was seperating them. Not good at all. I ended up purchasing another brand I found when I did a search for food saver bags online and it popped up. MUCH less expensive and I haven't had a bag fail yet. Hope this helps if they let it post.

Great Value at BOGO Prices!
I stock up on these bags when FoodSaver runs a BOGO sale as it puts these bags at the same price (or maybe even a bit less) than bags made by other manufacturers, which, in my experience, are not quite up to the same quality as genuine FoodSaver bags. I've never had an FS bag fail to hold its seal, whereas I can't say the same for bags of other manufacture.

Disappointed
I have been using the quart bags for years and found them to be exactly the right size for freezing rib eye steaks. I recently opened a new box and found them to be much shorter than the bags used previously - same "quart" size. My steaks would not fit! Very disappointed that Foodsaver decided to reduce the size and keep the price the same.

Very disappointed
I bought this a week ago and it appears that they have changed the size of the quart bags from 8x11 to 8x10 without letting you know that on the website. I guess a quart is no longer a quart. When you try to contact someone you get a third party that doesn’t know anything about the product itself.

Dissapointed too
Just reading a few of the reviews, I was taken for a fool too. Ordered 10 boxes of the 8" x 11"-quart bags and received bags 8" x 10". Yes, I would also like to know when the size of a quart changed. Don't advertised a product and sent customers another one without reaching out to them. Should have placed the order at Amazon or Kohls. And what now, like a few responses I read from FoodSaver, call customer service, be on hold for a while and what is going to be the answer, oh I'm sorry, our apologies for the mistake. I work long hours and unfortunately don't have the time to be on the phone. Definitely, first and last order.

Perfect for most anything
I have been using the FoodSaver for 20 years(I am using my second machine). It is just my husband and I. So when we go to a super store and get large amounts of meats, fish etc, I am able to use these for smaller portions to freeze. I also use the pint size just as much for smaller items. It is wonderful to not have to worry about freezer burn on meats, cheeses and vegetables. I also have the rolls just in case I need it for something bigger. I used paper towels folded up near the top to soak up any juices.So very happy with food saver and all it's different uses.

Thank you for showing interest in our product. The measurement of this product is 6.1 x 8.8 x 9 inches. The total thickness is 4 Mil. A mil is equal to one-thousandth of an inch (0.0254 millimeters), so FoodSaver bags are 0.1016 inches thick. This works with the 8' system.
