Multilayer material resists punctures and tearing to prevent spoilage and freezer burn and can also be used in the freezer, refrigerator, microwave, and for simmering and sous vide cooking up to 195°F/90°C.

my go to for bags with conditions
this is my go to for bag material, (with conditions.... they freeze all my bulk items excellently, however just be careful that you only simmer in hot water & not boil! (stay below 150 degrees) or the seal will open up & your stew (etc.) will be in the water!

Can't Live without them!

Great product
I always use the 11" x 16' vacuum seal rolls for freezing. These are always wide enough and I cut them to the size I need with the cutter inside my vacuum sealer. When they go on sale, FoodSaver online also always has the best price!

11 inch x 12 ft. rolls
I hate the change you made to way this stuff behaves when vacuuming. It takes twice as long to pull the vacuum as the older material and is harder to control if you are doing bread that you don't want a hard vacuum. I am looking online to see if I can find something better.

excellent bags
Love these bags. They make food last a long, long time in the freezer. I buy steaks in bulk when on sale. I can have them frozen for a year and they are still red, not freezer burned, and look as good as the day I bought them.

Not for sous vide
Side seal failed when using to sous vide at 155°F. Description says safe to use up to 195°F. Not sure if product was defective or it's not really capable of withstanding the temperature they advertise.

Strong Bags
I use these bags for everything! I like that I can cut-to size. They're really heavy duty compared to regular zip lock bags, which means vacuum sealed food -or other items- stay protected and fresh.
