This 11-inch roll gives you the flexibility of vacuum sealing individual or multiple portions of meat, seafood, fruit, and more with less roll waste. Simply cut to your desired length, seal one end, fill, then vacuum seal. Ideal for use with FoodSaver vacuum sealers, the sealing strip heats to a precise temperature that works specifically with this material, ensuring a secure, airtight seal. Multilayer material resists punctures and tearing to prevent spoilage and freezer burn and can also be used in the freezer, refrigerator, microwave, and for simmering and sous vide cooking up to 195°F/90°C.

Money saving rolls
I love my food saver and I love the convenience of being able to make the bags the size I need. My wish would be that you come out with a Christmas holiday print on your rolls.. I do a lot of baking over the holiday for gift giving. I often wonder how much of the goodies we all exchange get wasted because we often have so much, I would like to simply vaccum seal mini loaves of bread and cookies in pretty bags and the recipents have the choice to toss in the freezer for a later date. When you make me a mint off this idea, remember me!

Surprised after Hurricane Irma!
All our meats are frozen in FoodSaver bags. We lost electricity for 3 days and 10 hours after Hurricane Irma passed through the Atlanta area recently. To our surprise all the meats were still frozen solid. The last minute meats that came from the grocery store were not sealed as we lost electricity early. These items were spoiled.The FoodSaver bags turned our meats into "meaty ice cubes" that helped the freezers maintain cold temperatures. We did lose some boxed fish and a few vegetables, but were very pleased with the overall experience. Thanks FoodSaver!

11 inch bags are the easiest and best to work with
I've ask my husband for a FoodSaver for years. He had no interest. Finally walking through the store one day I asked him again and he said fine and put it in our cart. Well I got the last laugh, because now HE comes to me and says honey would you please use the food saver and freeze this for me.He likes to hunt and fish and it's wonderful for freezing Wildgame along with many other products!

My favorite size bags
I have been buying these bags for about 3 years. I have also purchased the perforated rolls but I decided that I didn't need to anymore because with the 11" x 16' rolls I can make my own bags...any size I want. With smaller portions I can seal 3 across. Cut off the length I need, make folds in the bags and then seal on the folds and then one end. Insert the food and then seal the other end...PERFECT!!!

This product is the best! We tell all our friends!
We use this product especially when we have camping plans, as we did this past Thanksgiving. With no oven in our trailer, we put all the pre-cooked food in these airtight bags and freeze. When the big day came, we put on big pots of boiling water and placed the bags in the pots until hot. All we had to do was open the bags, and there you are...an entire Thanksgiving feast! And only 2 big pots to dry! No fuss, no mess. We love this product.

Great Item!
I like this size because I can adjust it to the size I need. Get used to making the right size of a bag takes a little bit, but once you do it is easy. Great for Freezing meats and large quantities of vegetables

Foods freezer safe.
I have had this system for over 10 years and use it very much. It really keeps my food safe and tasting like I just bought it from the store. I can put unused in a freezer sealed bag and save for another meal instead of throwing away. Great way to save money and stock up on food sales.

Love, love this product!!
I love the ease with which this food saver works! Had another brand before and I would have to hold down the cover for sometimes 10 minutes before it kicked in! If I let off with one hand to scratch my nose, it would stop! Then I'd have to hold it down all over again. The light indicator which would light up when you could let off with your hands took seemingly forever to get to that point. This one I now have is so much easier and hands free all the time! Great product!

Hello Jake, There is no difference in the design or the quality of the bags. Heat sealing merely closes the bag by applying heat. Vacuum sealing sucks all the air from the bag first, then applies heat to seal. Thank you for your interest in our 11&quot; x 16' Vacuum Seal Roll. We undestand that you want to know if you can use this rolls with your old vacuum sealer Vac1090. We check what are the sizes of the rolls that is compatible with your old vacuum sealer and it shows that the 11&quot; and 8&quot; vacuum seal rolls are compatible with your Vac1090. However, you can't use this rolls with your store n' cut, it's not compatible. You can only use the Zipper Bags on your Store n' Cut vacuum sealer. Hope this information helps.
