I like these bags for their convenience. I do not have to pull out the big machine. I just use the little one. I just wish the opening was a little larger. Hard to get some stuff in the bag

Seal Port design flaw
I am very pleased with the handheld vacuum sealing unit. It functions quite well, it's fast, the size works for my hands which I feel are average in size, and it fits nicely in my "gadget" drawer along with it's charger, so the two are always sharing the same compact organizer section. It charges in about 30 minutes, with a charge lasting in proportion to how many bags you are sealing. Thus far, it has never run "out of gas" in the middle of food packaging. I don't do marathons in that area.
The bags are very sturdy, I still have the first batch I bought, but I treat them with care. They never go in the microwave or dishwasher. They are hand washed with very warm water and dish soap. I use a sponge, never letting them mix in the sink with cutlery or anything that could damage them. They are rinsed with warm water partially dried with a clean dish towel then turned upside down over a bottle or whatever will hold them so they can air dry. When dry, I place them flat in a box just for them and that's all there is. The only problem that I have with both sizes is the small plastic tape-like disc that covers the vacuum port has fallen off a good number of my bags. Now they can't be vacuum sealed any more, just used as regular storage bags I counted them just before writing this, I have 8 gallon & 10 quart size that the seal patch has fallen off. I could understand this if I did not take care of these rather pricey bags, but I am quit careful with them and no one in my house uses them but me. I haven't purchased any more because of this issue. It's a simple fix and should be corrected by the manufacturing process. I loved the concept when it came out, but have been so disappointed with the outcome. I will add that this was not one batch of bags it was 4 separate purchases. I did this because I was fed up with being over run with plastic storage containers crowding my pantry. I would appreciate a reply in regard to this review.

Looking for Zippered bags to use in the freezer
I love my FoodSaver system that I use to freeze food. I was so excited to see a zippered bag that could be used to store food. Unfortunately, I bought them with the purpose of using them in the freezer and am disappointed that they are not recommended to use that way. As a product idea...it would be wonderful to have zippered bags that can be used to freeze food. It would be so helpful to use with items like meatballs and hot dogs...items that I would need to use just a few at a time and then I could re-vaccuum the bag and put the rest in the freezer.

Life changing!

Freezer’s Best Friend
We love these! Best investment for deep freezers. No more freezer burn on meats or veggies. We love the reusable bags (veggie and fruit only). Would buy the system again. Our daughter bought bags and brings them over with the items she wants vacuum sealed..

FoodSaver's Rock!!!
I love these zipper bags! They very easy to use and now that there is only the two of us. They are just the right size for many leftovers, cheese and many more uses. I still enjoy using the rolls with my larger FoodSaver vacuum sealer. I have almost used most all of the available bags at one time or another. Love them!

Almost perfect!
Love that these bags can be opened and resealed with no loss of quality to the contents, unlike regular zipper bags. Only gave 4 stars because I still find them hard to fill. Not sure what more could be done about that but my perfect bag would be easier to fill.

Foodsaver vacuum zipper bags
I freeze all of my homegrown shelled pecans in these bags. I love being able to open the bag and remove what I need for baking recipes and then resealing the bag and toss back into the freezer.
