Hello, thank you for reaching out to us at FoodSaver® . We will be more than happy to answer your question! Our bags can be washed and used again. However, it depends on the previous contents of the bag. FoodSaver® Bags that previously contained fruits, vegetables, breads and dry goods can be washed and reused. FoodSaver® Bags that contained raw meats, fish, eggs or un-pasteurized cheese should be discarded after use because they may contain invisible bacteria that will remain after washing. FoodSaver® Bags that contained greasy or oily foods should also be discarded, as they may be difficult to clean. FoodSaver® Bags can be washed by hand. Dry completely. They can then be re-vacuumed. Our FoodSaver® bags and rolls are not recyclable. Please follow the disposal guidelines and requirements of your local municipality. Hope this information helps. Should you have any inquiries or further questions, please let us know by sending an email through our FoodSaver® website or you may call us at our toll-free number 1-877-777-8042. For your convenience, we are available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, EST.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us at FoodSaver. We will be more than happy to answer your question! You can vacuum seal raw meat, however it is recommended to pre freeze juicy meat and fish before vacuuming as the moisture might get stuck the unit. Some of the vegetables require blanching before vacuum sealing. Fresh cruciferous vegetables emit gasses when they're stored, which means if they're kept in an airtight package, they will cause the plastic bags to expand. This introduction of unwanted gasses will cause your food to go bad quickly. You can find all the step by step information on how to safely vacuum seal vegetables in the link below: https://www.foodsaver.ca/en_CA/blog/archive/2015/january/how-to-vacuum-seal-broccoli-and-other-cruciferous-vegetables.html Hope this information helps. Should you have any inquiries or further questions, please let us know by sending an email through our FoodSaver website or you may call us at our toll-free number 1-877-777-8042. Hello, this is Zuzanna from FoodSaver! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question! I am sorry to inform you that our bags and rolls are not intended for baking of any type. In addition, we have not tested the product with the air sous vide technology and as such, we cannot guarantee that it would perform in the same way as with regular sous-vide, for which these bags would be sufficient. Hello, this is Mateusz from FoodSaver! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question! Although FoodSaver bags are reusable unless food that could cause cross-contamination (such as raw meat) has been stored within them, these bags are not reusable as they require tearing after the microwaving process as indicated on the product's labeling. Hello, this is Mateusz from FoodSaver! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question! Our FoodSaver bags are a perfect way of sealing fresh produce, however, in the cases of celery and spinach, we recommend briefly blanching the products prior to vacuum sealing and refrigeration, although simply refrigerating the vacuum sealed product would also be sufficient to allow it to be preserved longer.
