Good for short term storage of extra large items
I like these expandable bags for extra large items like prime ribs; however, you have to cut the bags extra long so that the layers lie straight and flat when sealing. I also find that they tend to lose their vacuum over time. I'm assuming this is due to the thickness of the layers not being thoroughly sealed. I've tried double sealing, but still have trouble with losing vacuum over time. I would recommend these for extra large items that are only being stored short term (within 1-2 weeks)

don't burn out your machine
you have to line it up perfectly some of the bags get a crease on it loading then the bag is useless

Buy 2 Get 2 Offer Didn’t Work
I purchased 2 of these resealable bags. The bags are wonderful, especially compared to the older style bags which had a plastic part of the seal that falls off when the bags are used in the freezer. My complaint is I purchased 2 of these packages of bags during a buy 2, get 2 promotion. I expected to receive 4 packages but received only 2. If I would have received 4, I would have given a 5 star review. Contacting the store placed the blame on me, which didn’t help with my situation.

Terrible, don't buy, don't use!
The worst bags EVER. If you don't have 20 minutes per bag trying to do it perfectly - don't even bother! I am left with 3 unopened rolls of these TERRIBLE bags... :-(

Hard to use.
I bought these by mistake. They are horrible. Difficult to seal with all those layers. I used them but won't buy them again.

Bad design
Worst design ever. Stick the the regular ones. It is a pain getting the sides tucked in neatly so it seals properly.

Expandable bags NOT recommended !
The pleats make it very difficult to achieve a good vacuum . . . it never reaches the red light, heat seal point.
