The FoodSaver® GameSaver® Titanium Vacuum Sealer w/ Bonus Offer
Tested & Proven
I purchased this unit in March 2014 and it had limited use until June and our trip to Alaska. Starting in June I have used the machine several times and multiple repetitive seals while processing salmon. It has worked flawlessly and without problems. Since being new the locking latch works a bit stiff, but so far has not been a problem. I have been able to test the latch on a new unit and it works the same way. I should also mention the unit is bigger than most other models, but I am willing to give up space for quality. I highly recommend this unit if you are processing larger quantities of goods and are looking for a above average machine.

Great machine easy to use
The Gamesaver Titanium G800 is a well built and remarkably easy to use machine. Large buttons make for easy operation. I like being able to make different size bags to fit any size portion of meat. It works very well for freezing vegetables also. I gave this product 4.5 stars because the machine is a little larger than I like. The price is fair for this product. I received this product as a sample to review and having never used a vacuum sealer before I was unsure how it would perform, I was quite pleased. Overall I think it is a wonderful machine and would recommend it to anyone wanting to freeze meats and vegetables for any extended period of time.

Worth every penny
Awesome. Thats how i felt after using this item. I am a bulk purchaser, couponer, and prepper. My husband does both hunting and fishing. So I did alot of research on this item before I finally decided to order it. It is worth every penny. When we seal, we usually are doing a couple hundred pounds at a time. We have NOT had a problem with it overheating. It does do up to 53 seals at a time. That is the biggest batch we have done. We do use ours for non-food items also, and this ties in with us prepping. It does not seal mylar bags but it will vacuum them. I gave this item a 5 star rating because I honestly believe that this is an amazing vacuum sealer.

This unit replaces my twenty year old professional II. Disappointed in size and usage. I covers up the counter over my dishwasher. Very hard to lock down and release lid. It runs for over thirty minutes after use, with no way to power off. Interior is black which makes it difficult to see where I am placing bags to seal along with having to wrestle the bag while locking down lid. I have to use a 11/2 " cutting board in front to help seal/vacuum or an extra four inches of bag. It is Impressive to look at, had to paint the rubber covered buttons to see the lettering on them. I do not know about cleaning the controls after using.

The GameSaver titanium is outstanding
I purchased my GameSaver Titanium this fall after much research and reading previous comments from others that purchased this model. Those that have purchased it, were enthusiastic in their recommendation and praised and described it as being rugged, reliable, and easy to use. I agree! I have successfully used it to preserve and freeze a bumper crop of a large variety of organic peppers that I raised from my garden. I will no longer need to purchase expensive fresh peppers this winter. I'm very happy about that! Also I used it to preserve and freeze an apple pie. In my opinion there is no better model for the home gardener.

A good product that needs some help
A separate ON/OFF switch is a must for this machine. As a long time Food Saver user I miss the PULSE feature of earlier machines. This permits evacuating bags containing foods with high liquid content easily. The OPEN/CLOSE/STORE switch is very stiff when going into the CLOSE position.
This is one powerhouse machine with tremendous evacuating and sealing power. The double bag sealing capability is highly desirable and works very well. The machine has a rather large footprint and therefore is not so convenient to store on my limited kitchen counter.
With all the trade offs for me, this is one vacuum machine that
does what it is supposed to do and does it very, very well.

There are two small faults with this machine.
The two things I would like to see different on this machine. # 1. Make the open store close handle eaiser to work, it is very stiff. # 2. This machine is very high, even sitting on a bench you have to hold the bag up to get the proper vaccum and seal or make the bag longer than the three inches extra to leave it lay on the bench, the cure for this is to find someone to make a riser for in front of the machine that puts the bag level, or just a little below, the level of the machine, (I used two pieces of 3/4 hardwood 20" x 14" laminated together for this. After doing this I have found the machine much eaiser to use.

Wow what a price JUMP
Titanium dual pump for $ 450.00 WOW if you are at this level of vacuum packing you should consider adding the extra $$ and go for a commercial chamber machine. I have owned every top of the line sealer from Tilia/foodsavor over the years. The cost of the bags and replacement of the gaskets your not saving much. And the bottom line if you do cross that fine line of moderate use the machine won't last but a few years. The units with self cutters will get dull and are non replaceable kinking the bag rendering that whole concept useless .Switching to a machine that can handle fluids and has a real PUMP
