FoodSaver® GameSaver® Bronze
BEST FOODSAVER EVER
I have only used this machine once...but, it already does way better then my last model. I had bought the FoodSaver Mini Chef Kit 2 years ago because it was on sale at a retail store. Biggest mistake ever because that thing is junk. But this GameSaver Bronze is great. It's easy to use, air escapes quick and simple. Not to mention its sturdy, feels tough, and a has a wonderful pattern! I bought this (like the first one) for my husband, but I'm pretty sure I'll be the one using it most of the time. I definitely would reccomend the GameSaver Bronze to anyone. It is a bit more on the spendier side of moderate pricing, but it is worth every penny. Super great product!

Good product - looks terrible
The unit works great - but looks ridiculous in a normal kitchen because it matches nothing (unless it's a deer camp). I uploaded a pic of my new concept kitchen that will match my new foodsaver.

Tedious in the Extreme
This was the replacement recommended by a Foodsaver representative for a Foodsaver Turbo Plus Professional Series that quit working. I surely wish I still had it if only to make bags. What had been a simple two step process: puil out bag to length, close lid & press "seal" and cut, has become a multi- step process with the Gamesaver Bronze: lift bag cutter bar, pull out bag to length, close the lid & lock, press "seal," unlock, pull bag back to bag cutter bar, align seal in bag cutter bar, and cut. I will think about this every single time I have to make a bag and, unfortunately, it takes a good number of them to package up a deer for freezing,.

What a great new product!
I have had Food Saver Machines for over 15 years, with no problems. When told of the "NEW" Bonze Game Saver, with lifetime Warranty, "Flip-up" storage feature & it's in Camo I had to buy it! It now fits great on my countertop and takes up less space than a loaf of bread! Works as great as my previous model. This will allow me to leave it on the counter and I will not have to "keep getting it out or the cupboard". The package deal with the Bronze Game Saver was good too!

Good product in an ugly package.
We returned a V3880 after realizing only the first item we vacuum sealed was correct, and it lost suction after that (and apparently would have to wait up to a half hour between sealing?!?) After readings reviews, we ordered the Game Saver Bronze, going for function instead of looks. Huge difference. The first day we got it, we individually packaged about 60 items one after another without pause and it worked great from first to last. Do some web searching, there are coupon codes to be found if you order at foodsaver.com.

Lifetime warranty sold me !
I have had 2 previous units that were similar in use and function but after time the heating element would create a void in the seal.
Was told that they dont sell the element for safety reasons. I would rather spend $ 15.00 to repair an item than pitch it in the trash and make landfill. In fact I would keep a spare repair kit on hand for the next time cause some things do wear out..
With that being said this unit does what its supposed to do and I hope that I dont have to use the warranty because my luck is, the element goes just when I bring home a few hundred dollars of meat to package.
Wish I had color options as I do like camo just not in the kitchen
Definitely reccomend this unit over the 1 year warranty

Updated my old model
Staff was extremely helpful with choosing the correct food saver for my family. Wish this model wasn't camo design but I can live with it. Seals Great. Only thing I think they should change is you have to waste so much bag to seal. The bags are expensive and you waste several inches with each seal.

I love having a lifetime warranty
Having a lifetime warranty is very important to me as I have had 3 other Foodsavers and had to replafe them all in time. I do not care for the camouflage on the exterior. I will keep it in my pantry as I would never have it showing in my kitchen. Small price to pay in order to have a lifetime warranty though. I think it is a bit more difficult to operate but I got use to it in a short bit of time.
Biggest problem thus far was the packaging via the carrier. There was absolutely no padding, bubble wrap etc around the box. I am very surprised that it did not get damaged in shipment.
