FoodSaver... More like LifeSaver Saver Sunday!
Well first off, I CAN ALWAYS interest someone in FoodSaver when explaining how FoodSaver works and all of the different bags and uses that they have out now. I invited my family over to my Saver Sunday Cookie Exchange Party. They were excited to see what FoodSaver offered because they have another brand of a vacuum sealer that does not work very well. We went over all of the different bag types and how they are beneficial and save us hundreds of dollars a year being able to buy our meat on sale and then package in ready to use servings, some precooked and ready to be thawed and then eaten. And also being able to freeze berries individually, when they are on sale and to be able to be able to use the Ziplock FoodSaver bags to take out what I need and then to refreeze them to keep them for months on end. We then went over the Mason jar attachment and how you can prepare salads ahead of time and place them in jars and then use the attachment to keep them in fresh condition for quite some time. For someone trying to be healthy, they can prepare a whole week’s worth of lunches in one sitting and be prepared for anything that they may encounter. This is one easy way to keep to the New Year’s Resolutions. I was able to show them all how beneficial the FoodSaver is in saving money for everyone. In this economy it would be silly not to have one. It was really exciting to see what everyone brought to the cookie exchange to. I will be doing another one of these parties even without being asked. I feel that everyone would benefit from a FoodSaver and I feel I need to teach everyone all of the things that you can do with it so that they can see that they can save so much money and stop throwing away money. And honestly the benefit for someone trying to have a healthy lifestyle this is an absolute and I was able to convey this to my family. How can you not want to prepare all of your meals for the week and know that you are setting yourself up to succeed instead of not having a plan and failing? "Failing to Plan is Planing to Fail". Honestly when my family left they were so excited about all of the options that FoodSaver offers and are planning to purchase one! Success! Family Saving Money... what could be better than that! Thank you FoodSaver for giving me the opportunity to share my love of FoodSaver!!!

When I learned the good news that I was selected to host a food saver party...I was so excited. The big decision was what to do during the party. I decided for everyone to bring a dozen cookies and we will swap cookies...seal them in the resealable bags and then they could take home their cookies in the bag.
Everyone loved it...we talked about the advantages of food saver..and the bulk buying and length of storage compared to conventional methods. I went over the new products and how to use each product with a demonstration.
I then let everyone tell how they would use a food saver system and what they loved the most about the products. Then everyone came and tried it out for themselves.

How FoodSaver® Brand has helped: Cookie Exchange Party

My FoodSaver Cookie Exchange Party
I was excited to receive a FoodSaver as a birthday gift from my parents a little over a year ago and thrilled to be selected to host a FoodSaver Cookie Exchange party!! I had always wanted to have a cookie exchange and found out that quite a few of my friends did too, but none of us had ever participated in one. We all made dozens of cookies; one for each party guest plus one for sampling. My daughter and I prepacked ours using the FoodSaver vacuum sealing system. What fun to demonstrate how useful the system is to me during the holidays to my friends and showed them how they too can package their holiday goodies to keep them fresher during the season. I showed them how to use the the seal-able bags, the zip top bags and my different containers and canisters. I also showed them my made ahead meals in the freezer. I am a big fan of home preserving (we have a large garden) but told them that I no longer can my vegetables but freeze them using the freezer and steam bags. The guests, there were 14 of us, were fascinated by the versatility and usefulness of the FoodSaver! We had a great evening of fun and fellowship with having snacks and tasting all the different cookies everyone had made. At the end of the evening the leftovers were sealed using my FoodSaver and sent home with various party guests. We are already planning our 2014 Cookie Exchange Party! Thanks FoodSaver for making it possible for us to finally get around to holding a cookie exchange!

How Food Saver help make Hanukkah a blast!

Getting ready for the guest
Getting ready for the guest
I was so excited to get chosen to be a host. I decided to combine my food saver party with Hanukkah.
We invited over some family and friends and made some traditional holiday foods. My daughter was so excited as she loves the food saver. I use it all the time to make her meals to take to college. So she was telling everyone how easy it is to use and how fresh it keeps the food.
We made packages of traditional holiday foods to send home with all the guests. And everyone got a chance to seal their own package. We all had a great time.
I took lots of pictures but can't get them to upload. At least I got one to work.
Thanks food saver for this opportunity!

I invited 3 of my friends that did not own Food Savers, I am always telling everyone that you need to buy one. I even have a few people that say I am going to Vacuum seal everything in my house. I had ordered 40 pounds of chicken and I thought what a better way to show how this works. I trimmed the chicken and invited everyone over. One of my friends was a little skeptical about how simple the machine was to use. I did a pack first and then asked one of the ladies to try. Its amazing how you can read what a person in thinking because its written all over their face...WOW is what I saw!! She stood there in amazement and said "Oh, my where and how do I get one". Ok, first friend sold...I had to take the sealer away from her. My next friend does not like to touch meat, so I showed her how simple it was to use tongs to place the meats in the bags, seal and freezer. And when you are ready to use, simply cut the tops off the bags and place foods in whatever cooking pan or pot they are using! Another one...sold. The last friend said that everything was great and wonderful, but what about the products that had been in the freezer for months! Well, I pulled out a few hamburgers that had been in my freezer vacuumed sealed for months, she smelled the meat, we popped them on the grill. She said it was it was fresh from our local butcher. After that, we did veggies, fruit and other items from out pantry. It was a wonderful day with good friends and good food!
