    ·         1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers
    ·         1 pound ground turkey
    ·         1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, undrained
    ·         1 (16-ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

SundaySM Tip: Didn’t use a whole bell pepper and have leftover tomatoes from preparing the turkey chili? Place the remaining veggies in a FoodSaver® Zipper Bag and refrigerate to help preserve tee freshness longer!

Featured Fall Harvest Party Hint

Apple Aroma Year Round

Fall is apple season. If you have ripe apples for apple pie or crisp, but don’t have time to make it right away, here’s a handy tip. Slice the apples, place in a FoodSaver® Bag, then vacuum package. You can keep them in the refrigerator for several days (even weeks) and they won’t discolor – they’re perfect for making your favorite dessert when you need them. Want another $aver Sunday suggestion? Thaw and simmer apples with cinnamon, brown sugar and water and then blend thoroughly in a mixer to create a smooth applesauce that makes for a perfect afternoon snack.
Fall Harvest Decorating Tip

Light Up Your Party!

Use mini-pumpkins or small gourds as candleholders by snapping off the stem and gluing a candle (or melting the bottom of the candle so it sticks) onto the top of the pumpkin. Place hurricane glasses around the candle and place floral pins around the glass to help it stay put.
