FoodSaver® GameSaver® 8" x 20' Long Rolls, 6 Pack
This product is perfect
I needed more 8 inch bags, and every other multi-pack of rolls that I had seen includes 11 inch rolls to make 11 inch bags. Those are too large for me and I already have several from other combo packs. This 6-pack of 8 inch rolls is absolutely perfect and great price! I belong to a farm share and bring home more produce than my husband and I can eat each week - so I freeze a lot of the excess. It is so fun to make my own bags and freeze my own food! I have found online that you do not need to blanch vegetables before freezing if you use them within one year, so I just clean the veggies, cut to size, put them into the newly made bags, vacuum, seal, date and freeze! Easy and fun!

Great To Work With
My wife has had Alzheimer's for five years now and I am her caregiver and very glad that I am since we have been married for sixty three years. I try to make things easier on both of us and use my food saver for as much as I can. This is our third one and it is getting a little tired, but cannot afford another for now. I make up dinners on trays and use my food saver then freeze them. You would be surprised how many dinners that I can get from a chuck roast and add some vegetables. I have used the food saver for many years now and could not do without it.
Thank You so much

Love the Game Saver Food Saver rolls of plastic
I usually find The Game Saver Food Saver rolls of plastic to be less expensive than regular Food Saver rolls of plastic, even though they seem to be an identical product. They keep all the food from getting freezer burn. I like being able to label & date the food. That way I know exactly what it is and when I froze it, so I can easily use the oldest first.
I also freeze left over's for a quick meal.
I like purchasing the 8' x 20 ' rolls of plastic to make my own custom size bags, so I don't have any excess waste.
I would & I often do recommend this product to everyone.

pricy, but worth it
I've tried the "bargain brand" rolls, and they just don't seem to seal as well. I use the 8" bags much more than the 11" bags (about 6 to 1 ratio) - dividing bulk purchases into meal sized servings of 4 pieces (chicken, pork chops, fish, etc.). I only use the 11" bags for steaks or large items that won't fit into the 8" bag with a little room on the side to vacuum out the air, or if I run out of 8" bags. I think its better to seal the smaller side of a long (8" bag) rather than the long side of a short (11" ) bag.

The 8" rolls are an absolute necessity for any kitchen! Be sure to get the 11" rolls too!
I throw out very little food since getting the FoodSaver. And my freezer has never been neater! Be sure to write the food name and date on the bag!
The rolls are very conveniently sized (between the two available sizes, I can seal practically anything). Excellent for preserving fresh or frozen foods in oddly sized/shaped containers. Even those recycled butter tubs are more useful now! :-)

I use the 8" X 20' rolls for small items and long narrow items, like trout. I have been able to keep frozen fish for a long time and never have freezer burn. I like the ability to make the bags the size I need... saves money. I keep a supply of the 11" x 16' rolls around for larger items. Due to special diet needs, I cook batches ahead and freeze. Frozen foods stay at a great quality and I can freeze the food in portion sizes. I have used FoodSaver products almost daily for many years.

I love this product! I like the flexibility of the rolls – you can make whatever size you need to fit what you are freezing. I use the 8” rolls for almost everything – it’s a great size. I used to buy the 6” roll, but it is no longer available (I wish it was still available). I buy meat when it is on sale and freeze individual portion sizes – this saves me money and also helps me eat less since I can limit the size (great way to lose weight). Occasionally I have used the 11” rolls – but they are too big for most of my needs. The meats that I freeze do not get freezer burn and taste as good as when they were first purchased. I take the meat out of the freezer and thaw (still sealed in the bag) in a bowl of cold water and it is excellent! I highly recommend this product to save money, save time, and lose weight!

I have problems when I am freezing the food sometimes because it won't suck out all the air so I have to cancel it and trim the bag past where it would have sealed and try again. If that doesn't work I repeat process if I have enough bag left if not I have to start with whole new bag! That gets very wasteful. Other than that it is a great product that saves us a lot of money since I have not learned to cook for two yet! I freeze our leftovers for future mealsyu
