FoodSaver® 11" x 16' Heat-Seal Roll, 3 Pack
BEST value option
The three pack is the best option for ordering bags. I ordered on a BOGO offer they sent me through email and received free shipping. I can't find any store selling these bags for less AND shipping to my house, while it doesn't cross water and therefore doesn't use a ship, was very fast and they were at my door within 5 days. 6 rolls for the price of three. I feel like food saver recently came out with an even LARGER option.
The bags work great unless I'm being cheap and trying to save an extra $0.03 by making the bag too small for using. I've used these bags with hops for brewing beer, marinating, storing frozen food and anything else I can think of and they're great.

save money with this product
I was a little apprehensive about these products so I purchased a small sealer to start and sealed a slice of turkey breast. I took it out of the freezer the following thanksgiving and put it in the microwave and it was like I have just taken it out of the oven. So with those results I bought a larger sealer and have use it for everything all the fish I catch large blocks of cheese cut in smaller pieces seal it put it in the bottom bins in the refrigerator. Great product don't get lured in for the look alike products they do not work as well.

In the nick of time!
Bought these bags as 'stock'. Then a local store offered boneless, skinless, chicken breasts at $1.45/lb; you had to buy a 40 lb box and quantities were limited. No problem! With my recent purchase, I could make the great buy and store the chicken in perfect portions and guaranteed fresh in my freezer!

great product...lots of uses
I'm on my third food saver machine....and buy the rolls in quantity as a money saver. Bags are reusable, however, they do need to be replaced from time to time. Moving the bags around in the freezer can cause small holes which leaves the bags....almost useless....however, even those can be reused for other purposes. I use those for sealing insurance cards/registrations for ATVs, the boat, vehicles, etc. Also they are great to carry 'fire starter kits' when hunting/hiking/camping, etc. Purchased my first machine in 1995! Thanks

Saving me money
Food has gotten more expensive it seems every week. I buy meat, hamburger, pork chops and roasts, chicken, ham etc. when it is on sale. Then it shrink wrapped in the FoodSaver bags and put in one or the other of my two freezers in the garage. I have never had any spoilage over the years I have been doing this. It has saved me a ton of money over the years. Oh, I also have a load of fresh ocean caught fish.
I highly recommend the FoodSaver and bags. It not only saves me money but also not having to go to the store as often.

Used to be well made
I hate to say it, but I can not recommend this material. I just had to toss 5 bags that I made because they would not seal after vacuuming.
These rolls used to be made of a heavy material that held up extremely well. The bags made from it could be washed, bleached and reused.
The new material is thin, cheap and not up to expected standards. If you ever go back to the quality material let me know. I will come back. As it now stands, however, I am looking for a better material that will work in your excellent machines.

Best wedding gift
We are on our 3rd FoodSaver. Have purchased many of these for wedding or Christmas gifts for others. We live in a small town, have to travel 45 miles to bigger city. We buy a lot of food in bulk for that reason. Even frozen veggies, We break them down into smaller portions and use Food Saver bags. When I make taco meat, I make double and freeze for next time. During holidays we buy several turkeys and put them in Food Saver bags. Best money saver we have purchased over the last 29 years of marriage.

Just plain worth the $$.
I am on my second vacuum sealer. My present model is a V2865. My first FoodSaver vacuum sealer finally gave up the ghost after many years of near constant use. So many years I do not remember just how old it was.
I cannot say enough good things about this system as I use it every single day. My uses are vacuum bagging, (superb), and canister sealing, (slightly problematic). The canisters have an ongoing cracking problem over a long period of use but I have learned to repair all but the worst of cracks with a marine type sealer.
If you are into saving money, preserving foods much much longer than just putting them in plastic snap-top bowls, this system is for you.
For vacuum bags I use and recommend the 11" by 16' roll custom sizable bags. You can make any size bag you need for a particular sealing job....... L. Smith
